I was just watching the Neelys make a grilled banana split, and all of a sudden I could just TASTE one.

An actual soda counter treat? Probably at least 35 years & my favorite was a fresh limeade, I don't even know if we have a soda counter in town, but I used to go to Twin Falls, Idaho with my friend in the summer years ago. An actual banana split it has been several years, but we have a frozen custard place that we love where we go for awesome sundaes & malts. We went Saturday night & I got a hot apple walnut sundae, made with pumpkin custard -- I love fall!!

Limeade...Sonic Drive-In has them here. Do you have Sonic? They actually have a pretty decent soda counter menu, but no soda counter! It loses something when you aren't actually sitting at the counter. But I love limeade!

I will drink a Sonic limeade, but it just isn't the same. When DH & were first dating he would always order me a cherry limeade...it took a long time to convince him I just like plain limeade! Hot Dog on a Stick,at the mall has a pretty good limeade...
