Have you ever made pretzels? :)

Do you make anything with pretzels as an ingredient?

Have you ever used pretzels in a Party Mix?

Do you like Pretzels?

I've never made pretzels, but I'd like to try. Nope. Yep, which I guess makes the previous nope a lie. Lol I'm not a big pretzel fan, I prefer soft pretzels.

We used to make pretzels on New Year's Eve as a child. I think it was some kind of German tradition of some kind.
I have only used pretzels in Chex mix, but that was a long time ago.
Yes, I buy pretzels all the time for a snack. DD and I like them dipped in dill dip. I also buy the frozen soft pretzels that you heat in the microwave for an after school snack for the kids. Good with mustard!

I had a soft pretzel in NJ once that had a slice of Swiss barely melted on it & served with a brown deli mustard, that was yummy!! I like the garlicky ones from the pretzel places at the mall. If we get them at the bowling alley I like ranch for a dip. I usually wind up knocking off about half the salt on those pretzels.

I like to get the extra salt off of things too.

I love ranch...I can't think of much that can't be improved with a bit of ranch!! Strangely, only one of my boys likes it!! My nephew used to always ask for a "spoom" to eat the rest of his when he had chicken fingers when he was little. Those soft pretzels need a little salt, but never as much as they put on them!! I rarely add salt, either, DH & Caleb are my salt eaters!

My DH liked a lot of salt, and so does my oldest sister, I can't hack much salt on my food.

I got a really good tip from a Waitress/hostess at Chili''s, she said that their Southwest Eggrolls have a dip made from Wasabi and Ranch dressing mixed.  It is excellent if you ever want to try it.  :smileytongue:
