JaieLyn, in Vegas, I did get a small selection of herbs planted this year & a pepper plant. As for flowers, our irises have been beautiful, in fact I just cut 10 or 12 & put them in a vase today, since the wind has been beating them up. Not much else happening with our flowers, though.

We were supposed to have different colors, but they were all yellow...I'm sure last year they were purple. Yellow is so cheery that I can't complain & only 3 or 4 daffodils blooming this year & then something ate them!! I believe I bought Anaheim peppers, but I'll have to check. I think one of my basil plants isn't going to make it...

I use to have purple and yellow Irises, they are beautiful together.

Well, so far the boxwood basil seems to be doing well...I don't know that it is growing, but it looks healthy. The other one, eh, it could definitely look better. Anaheims have a little heat, but not really spicy. A nice flavor, I like them!
