1. Do you look for the bargain bins in your food store? :smileyhappy:

2. Have you ever shopped at a dented can store fore reduced price food?  :smileysurprised:

3.  Do you know when your store restocks their neat department?  :smileyhappy:

4. Have you ever purhased over-ripe/over-due-date produce at a discount? :smileytongue:

5. Do you stock up on pumpkin puree and/or cranberries when they are for sale in your store?

1 - 4: No. Wegman's won't sell anything that isn't perfect (which is why I love it).
5: Yes, I like to have a few extra cans of pumpkin around. I also will grab apple pie filling when it goes on sale (for a great cake recipe).

It is delicious and easy! You mix a box of yellow cake mix (or spice cake mix) with a can of apple pie filling (or peach pie filling), along with 3 eggs. Spread half the batter onto the bottom of a 13 x 9 pan and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top. Pour remaining batter over the that and top again with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for about 30 minutes at 350. I always get great compliments on it. It is nice for brunch too.
