i wore my only decent green shirt yesterday, but being Irish i felt I had to wear green, so I wore a short sleeved green hawaiian print shirt that is a size or two too big, but it was a favorite when it fit. my DS informed we today afterschool that he didn't have to wear green 'cuz he is Irish. Good thing his grandma wasn't around to hear him say that!! I made corned beef & cabbage for dinner -- I baked it for the first time ever & it was delicious!! Not sure if it was just a great piece of meat, or the cooking technique, but it was very tender & flavorful.

I just rubbed it down with plain old yellow mustard & sliced an onion on top -- man was it good!!! I fried some of it all up for lunch today, kind of hashlike, I added a bit of fresh onion to the mix & it was delicious...if I'd have had more time I'd have let it get a little crispy, but I was in a hurry.
