1. Is there any natural disaster you dread more than others?
Not that I am in a big forest fire region in Central KY, but I am terrified of fires. Tornaodes don't do much for me either.
2. Do you keep an emergency kit for those times should it occur? No
3. What meal do you have most often?
Either grilled burgers or spaghetti
4. Where do you prepare your food; Microwave, oven, skillet, or by some other method?
Oven or grill
5. Have you ever dehydrated anything to eat later or to decorate with? :) Not in years. I used to make deer jerky, but the ex got the dehydrator in the divorce and I haven't missed it.
6. Do you leave the peel on or do you peel the apple before using it?
I eat the peel.
What do you like in spaghetti? Have you ever used Italian sausauge in it? :)
Nope, never used sausage. I like sausage okay, but it is just that to me: okay. I usually used spiced up hamburger. But I have also used ground turkey and ground pork. I brown the meat with a minced clove or two of garlic and I almost always have sweet basil from my garden on hand. My kids like the beef version the best.
1. Is there any natural disaster you dread more than others? I don't care for any of them, but have survived plenty of horrible snow storms and two bad ice storms.
2. Do you keep an emergency kit for those times should it occur? No, we usually have what we need on hand. DH as a generator for back up and we have propane for our outside grill to cook on. We usually have plenty of food and water in the house, as well as flashlights and candles.
3. What meal do you have most often? Weekly I will make some type of chicken, potato, broccoli and corn. I get versatile with the chicken and potato. It is a meal everyone will eat.
4. Where do you prepare your food; Microwave, oven, skillet, or by some other method? All of the above and more.
5. Have you ever dehydrated anything to eat later or to decorate with? DH dehydrates is venison to make jerky.
6. Do you leave the peel on or do you peel the apple before using it? I only peel the apple if I am going to cook it.
