We are a big college football family and tailgate on the week ends, but are getting tired of the same ole things.

Whisper~ I found this recipe and could practically smell the photo through my computer screen. :smileyvery-happy: Maybe a fun tailgate snack idea?

Spicy, Salty, Sweet Roasted Mix Nuts

These nuts are very addictive, especially when served with beer for the grown-ups. They have a bit of a Middle Eastern flair, and the coconut is a surprisingly delicious addition. You can serve them in small bags, which makes them perfect for a post-tailgate snack during the game.

And one more that looked really good...

Texan Tailgate Pulled Barbecue Chicken Sandwich

My son, David Anderson, #89, WR, Houston Texans is the youngest of three brothers. As a little boy he loved eating what "the men in the family enjoyed," especially at our family USC Trojan Tailgates. Now that David’s a Texan, we call the recipe Texan Tailgate. I like to prepare this ahead of time and take to the ballpark in leak-proof containers.
