Thinking about Super Bowl parties yet?

Will you be attending a party, or maybe throwing one?

We usually don't go to one, but throw our own little family party here at home. It's hard to believe that it's that time of year again already, but I'm already seeing "super bowl snacks" and party ideas in all my magazines.

Is there any type of food that you must have for Super Bowl Sunday?

I used to go to a few, my friends would get a Big Screen TV and we would watch it, that was fun before I got married;

That sounds like what we do, Brenda! DH always makes wings (his favorite food) and we have all sorts of chips and dip and queso. Absolutely nothing healthy! But it's fun to do once a year. I'll have to start looking for some fun Superbowl foods!

I haven't been to a super bowl party since I was newly pregnant with DS1. We were living in Italy & the game was being shown live at like 2am!! I was so tired, even though we had napped before we went, that I snacked a bit, then curled up on the couch & went to sleep ignoring all of the strangers (DH knew them, I didn't) There is a party at church every year & Caleb went last year, but none of the rest of us have gone. Oh, I did go to a party a few tears back...I forgot it was a super bowl party. There were only 2 guys there who were actually watching the game, the rest were women & kids & only one of the ladies was mildly interested.

Wow! What a trooper to go at 2am! I'm not sure I could rally for that even when not pregnant. Maybe in my younger years; I guess that could be a fun thing to do.

There are many good things to have on Superbowl Sunday, but they need to be hand held.

Football plays on "choc-boards." So cute! These plays are scratched into pieces of chocolate to look like chalkboards~
