Heaven is afternoon cream tea, Clotted cream , scones and strawberry jam.

Yes would be nice to go to brunch with mom and daughter, maybe even get my sisters to go with us! I like English breakfast tea, usually that's what I have when ordering tea out.

A nice tea that is relaxing and a nice cookie
This week I made some great ones New recipe for me .. It is delish..

Power Packed Popcorn Cookies

Lightly spray cookie sheets

In a bowl:
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 egg
1 cup brown sugar
Mix
Add:
2 teaspoon baking powder
half teaspoon baking soda
half teaspoon salt
Stir this
Next add:
1\4 cup whole wheat or all purpose flour
half cup oatmeal
1 cup toasted wheat germ
half cup coconut
1 cup dried fruit,or raisins, or cranberries
half cup of nuts, or sunflower or any nut
you may like Or you may delete them..
3 cups of popped popcorn
Preheat oven to 350*
Mix until well blended
Now drop by round teaspoons onto baked sprayed
cookie sheets 2 inch apart they spread.. * I wet my hands for this part.
Bake 350 - 7- 8 minutes or until edges are nicely browned.
Allow to cool on pan for a few minutes before
removing them.
Yield 4 dozen cookies

Have to tell you Linda, we are a long way from anywhere. dH finds going to Europe etc is fine IF you did not have the very long flight distance to Oz and the jet lag involved. Hope you get back to Africa soon.
