8 cups frozen berries
2 cups sugar
1/8 teaso nutmeg
1 1/2 T cornstarch
2 cups Bisquick
1 cup milk
1/2 teasp cinnamon
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
In a large bowl combine the berries, 1 1/4 cups sugar, nutmeg, and cornstarch, stirring to blend.
Note: Can cover and refrigerate overnight.
Preheat oven till 400F
In a medium bowl blend the bisquick, 1/2 cup of the remaining sugar and milk.
Spread over the berries.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon. Brush the dough with the melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar.
Bake about 30 minutes till the top is golden and the berries are bubbling. Rest 10 minutes before serving.
