Blender Sticky Date Puddings Butterscotch Sauce

200g pitted dried dates, coarsely chopped (use scissors)

1 teaspoon bicarbonate soda

1 1/4 cups boiling water

60g butter, softened

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar

1 cup self raising flour

2 eggs, lightly beaten

Darn.......what in the world happened to the formatting. Will come back and edit on the laptop and see if I can fix it in a while. This looks one big mess. A little bird told me Hilary made this last night. Wish I did.

Just did edit and hope the format is easier to read. 60gr is approx 2oz, 300ml is close enough to a cup of cream for this recipe, and 125gr butter use 4oz.

Really? I often post recipes etc from the iPad with no problems at all. Anyway fixed it now. Can't wait to try these. Just want an excuse to make them. Passed on the recipe to a friend yesterday and she was going to dig her blended out to try them last night. Hope she did so I get to taste test today. I love it when something simple just works so well
