If your were wishing for something new for the kitchen did Santa bring it? Get any fun kitchen gadgets, food or gifts in a jar?

I got a couple of movies....a Tom Selleck western and a set of Mike Hammer with Stacy Keach. I did give kitchen stuff though. Gave both daughters-in-law a set of wonderful baking sheets from Earth Pan. I have them & absolutely love them. Nothing sticks!!! Also gave one DIL a Chop Wizard (the other one already has it).

Of course! Besides new fuzzy socks & cozy jammies, the only things I asked for were kitchen things! DH used to refuse to get me kitchen stuff, he finally realized that really was what I wanted, though. I got a triple crock (a 4 qt with two 1.5 qt), floor mat for the kitchen, 12 dish towels, oven mitts, new measuring spoons & cups, funnels & candy.

I have sweet treats coming out of my ears - candy, cocoa, coffee, cookies and more.

DH bought me a waffle machine. We got one for our wedding that was so hard to clean, so we never used it and eventually gave it away. Lately I've been wanting one so I could make homemade waffles for the kids. I mentioned to DH to keep an eye out at Goodwill for one, but he ended up buying me a new one for Christmas.

I love Tom Selleck and loved the western movie I saw him in. Those cookies sheets sound nice, will have to check into them, can always use a new cookie sheet!

DD refused too but finally this year gave in and got me things for the kitchen. I also got a new dressy coat from dh and computer speakers. Really needed the speakers, mine haven't worked in months! Sounds like you made out well with the kitchen things!

I love my waffle maker! It's great to make a double batch and freeze half for the kids durning the week. Before school/work they can just pop a couple in the toaster instead of those frozen cardboard waffles. I sometimes freeze strawberry sauce in small baggies so they have it for the waffles. It's one of their favorite toppings!

This is the third time I've tried typing this. On this laptop things seems to disappear or move if my hands aren't in exactly the right place.

This Tom Selleck movie is called "Last Stand at Saber River". I also picked up the 7th in the series "Jesse Stone" with him. This was going to be a gift but my friend never showed up so I'm keeping it.

The cookie sheets are from QVC. They are brown in color and very heavyweight. Nothing seems to stick to them and they clean up easily with soap and warm water. Not supposed to use oil or spray with them either. The cookies come out much more consistent in color and size too.
