DH is involved with the American Legion so tomorrow he'll be at the two cemeteries placing flags; Sunday he'll be at the park for a color guard ceremony during our community festival, then Monday he will be at the cemeteries for the flag ceremonies (he's the bugler) then lunch at the Legion Hall. I think I have his schedule right. *lol* So I guess I won't be doing anything. We have a communit festival dance, car show & cruise going on over the w/e too. There a chance of rain all w/e too.

Susanne maybe you could hit the festival/car show if it doesn't rain. We wanted to go camping but said rain for the weekend so canceled. Now they say only chance of rain Sunday! Going to moms Sunday for a bbq so should still be fun.

Hey Kim may I come to that BBQ too....pretty please. Sounds nice. Not sure what we are doing for dinner tonight but think it will involve some baking and get the big oven pumping out some heat. Might do a roast dinner. DH. Is in an anti dessert mood as he wants to drop a few pounds before the ski season.

Hard to beat, rides, baby animals and junk food, lol. I won't be going as it is something DH has always done with the kids so now he will be going with them and GD, too. Kind of a tradition.

As you know it isn't Memorial Day here but I have been in the U.S. on Memorial Day and the way some of the towns decorate for the occasion is amazing.

Oh .. I didn't pick that up earlier Suzi. Nice that your dh has a tradition like that with the kids. Fair enough too as you babysit as often as you do. Still, being with the kids while petting baby animals would be really nice. Hope your dh is handy with his camera! Enjoy the break!
