It is the best when they get home, all in one piece. I bet the three weeks seemed a long time. We sure do miss them. I bet your place will be noisy again. A nice kind of noise. I bet he has some nice photos and some great memories.

Hilary you are so lucky having them here now. Way closer than on the other side of the world. Enjoy every minute of it. I have a saying up.....we childproofed the house, and they're still getting in! it makes me smile as I keep remembering they do come home eventually. Funny how the home feels different when they leave.

Hilary I don't think I could go years with him living in another country! The three weeks away was long enough. Yes 2 more years and he'll be off to college...

Yes his great aunt put his pictures/video on dvds, watched them the other night. LOL he didn't take many pictures of when he spent 4 days at disney with his friend Ilea. He told me her mom took lots of pictures of them so ask her for copies.

The first time the kids leave is hard, but when they keep moving back you finally get where you can't wait for them to move out!!! DS2 has moved out several times and due to circumstances we let him move back several times. The last time he moved out we told him he wasn't moving back, although I thought he was going to have to for a while. Now if he and his fiancee don't make it he'll have to live in his car because he's not coming back here.

It sounds like he will have plenty of memories. Must have been fun to watch them. Maybe you could get them printed and into an album for a Christmas gift for him to keep.

I sure hope you don't have anymore heavy weight sessions and she feels better soon. Yeah grandkids do mean more visits and I am also looking forward to Summer bbq's and in especially using the pool. Right now I am deciding if I will take her to Mc Donalds for her first cheese burger. Her Mum put the idea in her head but she does not know what one is! LOL.
