Will get back to you when I get my act together. Easter egg hunt and therefore chocolate eggs is the only thing on the menu so far. Stay posted.

I don't have to cook Easter dinner this year :) We'll be having it at DH's aunts house. I will have to remember to call her next week and see if there is anything that I can do/make to help.

Oh lucky you. I wonder what she might want you to bring. Hopefully something easy to transport. Oh and you will not have all the mess, that is a big plus.

This morning found out Good Friday lunch or dinner will be at DD's so her hubby can smoke his trout. Looks like all I will have to do that day is buy some prawns. Not sure yet if I will buy cooked and just make a cocktail sauce to go with them, or get them green/raw and let him barbecue them. That leaves, bread, salad and a dessert. I hope she decides to do dessert and I will do the bread in the bread machine and make a salad. Sounds easy.

By the way, do you have your new washer and dryer yet? Hopefully no problems with them. Today I am squashing a large dog bed into my front loader. I really don't think it is meant to go in there but I can't stand the smell any longer. The worst that can happen is that it can fall apart, and even that would be better than the smell for one more day.

Yep, we got our new new washer and dryer :) Working much better. It also helps greatly that DH went into the crawl space under the laundry room (its an add-on) and blew out the exhaust tube thing. It was about half full of lint, which was probably part of the problem with both previous dryers, but there were other issues as well (like possible recall).

I don't know what she might ask me to bring, if anything at all. I just know I'll feel better asking.

Not sure yet but will be having ham, other than that it's still up in the air on what we'll have with the ham. Ds wants to make a lemon raspberry cheese cake, I'll have to remember to write down what he'll need when I do the shopping next week.

LOL Suzi! Well I plan on serving ham but other than that not sure yet, ds wants to make a lemon raspberry cheese cake for dessert. LOL the only thing we do know is we'll have a Easter egg hunt for the little one's.

That's great! Nice to have a new one and not to have to worry about it not working. We moved our dryer vent/hose from the basement to out side the house. Works nicely and if we need to clean it it's so much easier!

Just took a look at the Easter treats, so cute! I need to bake something for the bands bake sale and it's the day before Easter. Think one of these treats would be nice!

I'm not sure we're going to do anything for Easter this year. The kids will go to the local Easter egg hunt at the high school but have no idea what, if any, plans they have.

I think we might check out the local Easter egg hunt this year too Suzanne. I just got a flyer at the grocery store that they're having a carnival this Sunday with egg hunt and an Easter bunny for photos. It seems to be a fundraiser for Relay for Life.

Other than that, the kids usually go to church with my mom on Easter then we have lunch together.
