A friend gave me this recipe and not sure how much she adapted it from the original but it sounds good. Thinking of making it this weekend BUT have a question. Tomato paste to me is a really thick paste that usually comes in a foil pouch or smallish jar and you use spoonfulls of it. I don't think I have ever put a whole cup in anything so I am thinking that might in fact be what I would call a thick tomato puree, that you usually buy in a can,
