I'd rather have...

Veggie burger or a meat burger?

Fish and chips or baked fish?

Fruit as a dessert or something unhealthy!

Apple or apple pie?

Grape jam/jelly or strawberry?

LOL true! She likes having dinner ready when she gets home from work, or muffins in the fridge that she can grab on her way out the door. She's not big on cooking so if she doesn't have to she's very happy!

Great lol just what I want to look forward too! Well she's here now and will just have to wait and see for how long. She did mention getting a place with a friend, not sure when.

Missed this Kim! Hopefully your dd is now all settled in and not for too long. Thinking my two are now out of our house for good but this week we have made the decision to stay in this *too big for two* house for another five or more years because, although the kids have gone NOW the grandchildren enjoy the *space*.

Peanut butter and jelly! Dh is American and has that for lunch at least twice a month. Our granddaughter hasn't eaten peanuts .. yet! I am not going to be the first one to give them to her if you know what I mean. Kids and allergies these days ...........

You use plum jam with chicken! I have decided that our granddaughter is *old enough* to have a sandwich for lunch instead of a cooked meal. Her parents can give her that in the evening .. she can eat what they eat! We are not allowed to use butter or marg on her sandwiches either! A Vegemite sandwich without butter! Give me a break LOL!

Luckily GD can have peanut butter although her father is allergic. I did not give it to her till DD had tried it a few times with no reaction. Best thing about the allergy is I can buy DDchocolates, with nuts at Christmas and he can't steal them. Lol. I know...BAD me!

How about an olive oil spread? That is what I use a lot of the time. Sandwiches are great for their lunch. At the moment have been doing a lot of toasted ham and cheese since it has been cold.

LOL no room still looks the same! Ds offered to help her but she said it was fine as is.

Here in our school they can't seat any child with peanut allergies with the other kids at lunch. They have a table for them, can't chance one of the other kids sharing!

Well they simplify it here....no taking peanut butter sandwiches to school at all. Sad.

Some schools are starting to do that here also, some parents not happy about it!
