A new year is almost here, hoping it's a good one for all! Do you have plans for New Years Eve/Day? Think we're staying home, safer that way. Thinking about making pizza and a few snacks for New Years Eve, maybe watch a movie.

What plans if any do you have?

New Year's Eve for me today!   Nothing exciting happening around here.  Both our guys know that even on New Year's Eve we go to bed early so our older ds and his family are coming by for an early Chinese takeaway dinner and leaving the 18 month old grandson with us for the night while they head off into the City.   Ds works for a big company with offices in Sydney.   They are opening their floor to staff so the lucky ducks will see the fireworks off the Harbour Bridge.   I wish!

Happy New Year everyone .. may it be the best yet, and GOOD LUCK to Suzi!

Trying to answer for the 3rd time. The previous two never posted. Nothing planned, as usual. I used to go out every New Year's Eve to a local bar to dance. Now I stay home where it's safe and am in bed by 12:05.

Happy New Year to you! Sounds like a fun time for your ds, always nice to see the fireworks up close and not on tv. I was just thinking I could go for some chinese takeout! Not tonight though, have a porkloin in the oven so that'll be dinner. Prayers to Suzi and big hugs!

I'm headed over to the bf's house. We'll do something simple for supper then hang out in front of the fire with some movies and video games. My days of going to bars are long over.

I used to FIND a bar where I could bartend for New Year's Eve, if I did not work at or own one, because it is fun to watch "amateur night."  You don't make any money, amateurs don't tip; but it's really amusing.  But for the last few years I've just stayed home and watched some marathon TV.  I'll be hanging with my dogs, trying to stay awake for the Walking Dead marathon.

That's my kind of night, quiet and at home. Thinking maybe I'll pick up some marshmellows to toast! LOL haven't done that this time of year for a long time, when the kids were little I think was the last time. Ds and his friend will be here so think they'll enjoy it.

What a crazy night that must be, everyone out drinking/celebrating! TV marathon sounds good to me and just what we'll be doing tonight.
