Have you seen or tried the new cooking cremes? I saw the commercial for it and they have 4 flavors. They showed adding to pasta as a sauce type thing. Just wondering how they are, if worth buying?

If you have tried it what did you use it in and did you like it?

I really like these! Normally I'm too cheap to buy something like this, but I had a free coupon, then two additional coupons for $1.50 off, so we tried three flavors.

One I mixed with pasta and chicken. The Santa Fe flavor I mixed with a little salsa and used as a dipping sauce for quesadillas. And one we just used to dip some triscuits into. They're all quite good and versatile.

I really want to figure out how to make it myself though. It tastes like part cream cheese, part sour cream, and spices.

I've never used them but DD uses lots of cream cheese in her gourmet cooking!

I haven't tried these, Kim. I'm trying to think if I've even seen them advertised and I want to say I have, but I'm not sure.

Sounds good...Ds wants to try the Santa Fe Flavor so might look through my coupons and see if I have one. I did go to their web site and they have all kinds of recipes to use them in. Does it give a list of what's in it on the side?

I've only seen the ads for them in the last couple of weeks here.

LOL with those ingredients it'll be hard to come up with your own. I'd go with the cream cheese and sour cream with seasonings and see if it comes out about the same.
