Do you have plans for Mother's day? How would you like to spend the day if you have the choice?

I have absolutely nothing planned, except watching the Giants play the Rockies. Tomorrow is supposed to be really chilly with a high of only 58 so it'll be an indoor day. DS2 may be moving back home this w/e too so I have that to deal with. If I could spend it how I chose I'd been on the road all day, maybe doing to the lake or over to the valley or up north and coming home on Monday.

Susanne if you have nothing planned maybe you should do that road trip. Would be nice to get out for the day. Yikes on the moving back home, hope it's only for a short time!

Have no plans. We plan on church and maybe lunch out, not sure yet. My son has duty on the ship... I am looking forward to seeing him soon though.

Happy Mother's Day to you to Kim and all the members visiting here.

Been a hectic weekend. Just waiting to hear if I have to bake a birthday cake this morning, I know there is plenty left from yesterday but I think DD wants her to have cake and candles to blow out on her real birthday, so that is today and Mother's Day too.

The family is coming over this afternoon and we are having a sausage sizzle so don't really have to do much, just do the cheese and crackers, dips etc and let DH or SIL bbq the sausages and people assemble their own.

Now given a choice I would like a nothing day LOL.

A quiet day sounds divine to me Susanne, just had too much going on lately. Good luck getting your son moved in without too much fuss, if it happens. Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to you too Christina. It sounds like you will be having a nice relaxing day. I would love lunch out. I did see in the local paper that a lot of the pubs were doing special deals on Mother's Day Lunch, some of them really good value too. Hard though with a 2 year old, so better home here so she can run around. let us know what lunch was like if you do go. Thanks for stopping by.
