Six Glazes for Ham..

Maple Syrup Glaze

1 T mustard powder 1 1/2cups maple flavoured syrup 1/3 cup cider vinegar Mix until mustard dissolves. Brush on ham frequently and bake in a moderate oven.

Redcurrant Jelly and Orange Glaze

1/2cup redcurrant jelly 1/4cup port 1/2cup orange juice 1/2cup marmalade Mix in a small saucepan. Stir over low heat till melted. Simmer 5 minutes till it thickens slightly

Mango Glaze

2/3 cup mango nectar 1/3 cup mango chutney 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 T Dijon mustard Mix all in a small pan over low heat till melted.

Apricot Glaze

2/3cup apricot nectar 1/3cup apricot jam 1/4cup brown sugar 1 T Dijon mustard. Mix all in a small pan over low heat till melted.

Sweet Chilli Glaze

1/3cup sweet chilli sauce 1/4cup lime juice

These will actually work well on ham steaks if you are only cooking for a few. Just get them cut a little on the thick side and cook slowly, basting often.

Best news they are great value. Just get them quite thick and can marinate in a bit first then cook slowly basting often. Then of course add the pineapple and cheese. Yum. It gives you a few variations.
