will give this some thought. DH does not like pretzels and I have a few bags here to use up so this might be just the think. Rould have to sub the whipped topping with whipped cream but should not be a proble,. Thanks heaps for stopping by and dropping off something yummy. You are right would be great for a baby shower.

My mom made something like this a long time ago and it came out really good. Everyone thought that the pretzels were walnuts and started calling them "poor man's walnuts", haha.

Nice when you find a recipe you can make that is yum and something that you can just go to often, without thinking about it. That is an old fashioned coconut jam slice around here, lol I could make it in my sleep and it is always popular.
