Update on selling the Christmas trees...
12
Sun, 12-11-2011 - 7:41pm

We spent most of Saturday sitting behind our table and ds sold 2 trees, my MIL sold 5 and a bunch of Christmas ornaments (stars she made from can lids) so did pretty well. LOL I sold one vase and one necklace so I didn't do as well! I think next year we'll start early and hit all the places that have crafts for sale/to sell. This was the last one for the year so will have to check into next years schedule.

You did have some sales and you learned for next year so it sounds like a productive day.

Sounds good. Next year get an early start. Sometimes it is hard to find out where they are holding craft things, especially if they are outside due to the weather, and being moved or cancelled. Well done.

Lol Linda. Yesterday I pulled out scrapbooking stuff to make a Christmas gift and it has been so long I just stared at it and thought where do I start!!! Have not had time for craft things and I so want to play around with them again.

Yes true and it was good to see what sold and what didn't so we can plan for next year.

No that's why we only went to one craft sale. MIL did have the lid ornaments made last year and gave some as gifts. She has so many that she brought those along to sell. I haven't done much crafting in the last few years so thought I'd try it out again. Had fun making things even when they didn't come out the way I wanted. LOL trial and error makes us learn!

I did get the gift finished but it took basically all day. Kind of put me behind time today. Remember we get Christmas before you. Woken up with a sore throat too, which is not a good start to a busy day.

Good that you got the gift finished, hope you feel better and it doesn't turn into a full blown cold!
