Well here comes the weekend. Can't believe it is the end of August. Do you have any plans for the weekend. Hope you get to relax.

Here it is Father's Day so the family are coming for dinner. At this point I have not planned a single thing to cook. LOL. Need to go shop and get my act together. Stay posted for an update and feel free to pass on any ideas.

Beautiful morning here, first one where the heating is off. I guess that means you are sending me your warm weather...so the question is....are you ready to say goodbye to Summer? Anything you want to cook while it is still hot?

Yep, Friday it is and my babysitting day.  Sure hope it is a nice day like *our* yesterday!   I planted mint, two kinds of parsley, chives, sweet basil and a chili plant yesterday.   It really did feel like Spring was in the air!    Actually  the air was full of smoke from controlled burns in the area.  A necessary evil I guess but why do it when the wind is high.

This weekend is Father's Day for me too!   I have been assigned salad and dessert!   Too early to think about it this morning but will have a little panic later in the day 'cause tomorrow day and night we are babysitting and it won't give me much time to be creative LOL!   The day is at my db place which is GREAT!

I am so looking forward to Summer this year!

Have a happy rest of week everybuddy!

Sounds like staying home will be a good idea if the roads are busy. Hate that. Mind you where I am a peak hour is when you see more than ten cars at one time lol way different from in the capital cities where you can crawl in traffic for ages.

Your weather sounds perfect to me. I have the heat back on at the moment and there is a really cold wind, but this is the end of the windy month so hope things improve soon.
I have to tell you I have not had a good burger of any kind in ages. You reminded me I have hamburger buns in the freezer that have been there for months. Hmmm thinking they might need to come out and feed the fur baby or the birds.

You are making me feel lazy. I have potting mix and pots, but that is it! Guess I can't eat those. Father's day has changed from a picnic to a dinner here, to fit in a ride on a steam train for GD. The menu is still up in the air! I guess I don't have long to sort it out. Lucky you going elsewhere, no mess to clean up. Also babysitting here.

A week ago we had a bushfire right behind us. It was scary and now the valley is all black. I think the house still smells of smoke. I will try to remember to post a pic if I can get the laptop working later on.

Busy weekend here...DD is moving back home so have been helping her move things and have the heavy furniture to move this weekend. My girlfriend owns a consignment shop and is having a big Labor day sale (indoors/outdoors) and asked if I wanted to come and set up a table with my craft to sell. I jumped at that! So will be selling my crafts also this weekend. Looks like I won't be able to help dd with the heavy furniture moving, shucks lol. Ds will want to go to the fair one day with his friends so have to get his furniture moved out of dd's old room and back into his today. At least I got one thing finished, painted his old room this week! Wanted to do a fresh coat on dd's room but don't think I'll get it done before she's all moved in.

Wow that sure is busy. I am thinking that it is lucky you will be selling your crafts. I hope you get lots of people coming by your friends store. It was so nice of her to offer you a table. Maybe forget the new coat of paint in DD's room for now. I am sure she will just be happy to be home with the family. I sure hope she does not bring too much washing home too. Good luck with the craft sales. Crossing my fingers for you.
