Doing anything relaxing or cooking anything interesting?

Something different for me is that I am going to a 1 year olds birthday party being held at a tennis club! Sounds interesting. The weather is cold but fine, not sure how this will work, but figure I won't wear high heels, probably just flat shoes, in case any running around is needed.

Stay posted for the update after it is over.

I don't have anything planned. A friend who is a mechanic is coming over in the morning to see if he can get the RV generator running. My sciatica is acting up and I've got pins & needles in my leg and foot so I don't feel much like doing anything.

Sounds like a time to take it easy and rest a bit. Sciatica is no fun, I know all about it.

Good luck getting the RV running that would be a big positive. I thought I was out of the woods with my car and the new shocks but heard DH today telling someone my car was sentimental and worth less than the repairs this month, so would not be putting anymore money into it. NOT GOOD! I will ignore the rattle in the exhaust and just keep driving it!

Wow that is a major job and will take a while. You also need good weather. Hope there is some fun downtime in the two weeks.

Hey .. hope that sciatica settles down for you. I don't get that but my parents do and O U C H! Good luck with the generator too. Nice to have a friend who is a mechanic!

I read about your kids and their situation and the baby that is coming. My ds lost his job the week before they were married and so had to rent out the place they had just bought to pay the mortgage and then moved in with us for nine months! It never ends Susanne and even when they said they were pregnant I had an internal fit but it is never the *right* time and literally everything has worked out wonderfully and I have the most wonderful little granddaughter with two very happy and living in their own place parents.

I will keep my fingers crossed that things work out for you too!

Just so long as you two take some time out over the next couple of weeks Kim! I am sure Suzi will have plenty of leftover Nutella cookies if you drop round for afternoon tea HA! HA!

You guys would have to do things like roof repairs during the Summer I guess .. with all that snow!

Nothing excited this weekend-magic chariot driver for a friend-her DH has dialysis treatment and their car broke down, so I drove them around to complete errands! We had a huge rain storm come through early afternoon!

I cooked the last two days so we have leftover brisket and crawfish etouffee-rice, green beans and corn! I will cook a flank steak, so we can make sandwiches. Tomorrow I will cook-found some leg quarters $3.90 for 10 pounds, so I will make some chicken stuff to eat and put up!

Tonight we will go with my brother to the Listening Room to hear some music. DD is here for the weekend!

We're doing very little here - it feels like 100 though it's a very humid 90 degrees. Of course the AC just went out.. 0n the weekend..
