What SHOULD you be doing right now?...instead of obviously being here. lol. Just thought I would ask.

I should be cleaning the house, (but the task just seems a bit too daunting at the moment,)

Since it's almost 10:30 p.m. I guess I'm going exactly what I should be doing, watching "Castle" on TV and doing my nightly check online. I took the dog to the vet for a thyroid check this morning, did 4 loads of laundry today, took a ride around the valley this evening. I think I've done enough today.

Hi Susanne, that is a very pretty siggy.

What is it today with going to the vet, must be the day for it. You went (and hope you got a good result), DD went when a wound from an operation on one of their dogs went green and yuk, and her DH was already at another top vet hospital with one of his work dogs that has been there having tranfusions for two days and plasma treatment and still does not know what direction this will go in. Here last night Teddy was running one minute and could not stand the next so he had extra pain killers in his dinner. Will see what happens today.

I saw a series of Castle over at DD's. If it is good I will borrow

I guess I should be working - but I am depressed

So last night, an uninsured, unlicensed, illegal drove into me - cops said there was nothing he could do for me

Yeah - live in L.A. (suberb) - brand new car - I'm just sick.

Oh Denise that is awful. I am so sorry how can people get behind the wheel like that. I am presuming he was arrested. I know things work differently here and there but that can't be good. If there was a lot of damage I would claim but if not too much I would consider paying it myself and leaving my insurance alone. We did that on Christmas Eve when someone backed out of angle parking into DH's Mercedes. I said forget it and get home (I needed the shopping lol) unfortunately even a small dent on his car costs a heap, but will save insurance for a big claim.

Dh and I own a business and I come here (at work) Mon-Fri - once in awhile Sat

You don't even want to get me started about L.A. - I was born here and so was my mother and my son is 3rd generation

You can't even imagine about living just miles from where Whitney Houston died at the Beverly Hilton Hotel (Beverly Hills)

Its STILL on every darn local station here - Whitney had already been approved for a Star on Hollywood Blvd - but she didn't book the time to receive it

Every talk radio station is still talking about it and having people on that knew her - you can't get away from it

Oh - right now it is 3.20P here in L.A.

Well I am saying good afternoon since it obvioiusly is for you. I did not hear the Whitney news till Monday here, I don't tend to have the news on unless there is something that I particually want to know about. At the moment here it is a political leadership fight, and I am so over it. I guess it is impossible for you to get away from all the media talk there, but maybe when there are a few more answers it will disappear. There are only so many times you can say the same thing over and over, no matter how sad it is.

I am wrong - aren't you in Australia - so time and day is it for you

LOL Yes I am in Australia and here it is late morning. Just getting lunch ready for 2 year old GD. Hopefully she will feel like eating, then taking a nap after gymnastics this morning and having her immunisation shots. I am thinking it could be a long afternoon. I hope not.

I was just on itunes trying to find out where the music I bought last night had disappeared to. I could see it there but not transfered over to our Sonos music system. Finally got it sorted but along the way found that downloads of Whitney Heuston songs, especially from the movie the Bodygard were way up on the top ten list. Maybe people think they are suddenly going to disappear or something. Strange.

How awful! No injuries to you I hope? That sucks when the other driver doesn't have insurance. Here in CT they have to have insurance or get arrested and car towed away. Do you see a move in the near future for you?
