I am curious as we don't really do anything for it. I am wondering if any of the following would be on your list.>>>>>

Chocolate indulgence

Champagne breakfast

Romantic dinner out

Someone cooking dinner for you at home

Flowers or a plant in a pot

Now if I was dreaming I would probably pick someone cooking dinner for me at home and just being able to relax. I don't see it happening but I can dream!

Maybe not a champagne breakfast, but even DH making me a cup of coffee would be nice. :-) He usually makes steaks on Valentine's Day and we do special treats for dessert. The kids love doing chocolate fondue! DH usually brings flowers from the grocery store.

I'd probably say the same, Suzi. Having someone cook is always a treat. I'm not one for eating out, would rather buy my own chocolate and as much as I love flowers I think cut flowers are a bit of a waste. Now a plant that I could put in the yard would also work.

Well that sounds nice to me. You actually celebrate it very well. Anyone getting me anything in the morning would be nice but around here it is me getting everything for everyone then when they are out the door I think about something for me LOL. Weekday, weekend or holiday it does not change.

Now I am coming over to your place for those steaks and treats. You so hooked me on chocolate fondue. I have not used my fondue set is ages, I really need to get it out. May I please have some strawberries to dip, pretty please? Wow flowers too. Neat!

Well before I'd take the chocolate but now I'd have to pick someone cooking dinner at home for me or a nice romantic weekend away.

Hi guys...it's Laney...been gone a while..but I am back!!!

Valentine's Day...Menu out or at home...

Champagne with amaretta

raw oysters or Oysters Rockerfellow

Spinach salad with raspberry vinagariette, pecans and strawberries

chilled chardonnay

Lobster, crab, crawfish and shrimp with fried eggplant medallions

stuffed mushrooms

asparagus with hollandaise

stuffed potatoes

creme brulee and Kilwin caramels with sea salt

cafe diablo (with Kalua and whipped cream)

It would be wonderful to have a private chef cook, serve and clean up-as long as we are dreaming the ultimate dream!

Then the news comes on the TV...OMG, we won the $200 million dollar powerball!

Actually yes..I had a bad pneumonia and then a pinched nerve in my back that ended up revealing degenerative disk disease, scoliosis, bone spurs and arthritis in my spine..so it's been pain, shots, and physical therapy. Lucky for me, my daughter works for a physical therapy place that connected me with a great orthopedist/spine specialist and I am feeling fine now..lots of daily stretches and exercises and shots available if the pain returns! Hoping to avoid surgery and right now it looks good!

I am back to working part time-missed my kids. DD will graduate from culinary school in April. DS is working with granite installation. DH is retired and working is honeybees. Right now we are at the beach ans DD is house and doggie sitting! So I am resting, eating seafood and renewing my soul!

HUGS Lo I was actually hoping that you were just away having a wonderful holiday at the beach again. At least you are there now. I am so pleased that you have been able to get it all sorted out. Problems with backs are so painful and so hard to get relief even when sleeping, or should I say trying to sleep. At least all news with your kids is good. I hope you get DD to cook for you sometimes. Your hubby is probably having fun with his honey bees. Recently I got hooked on local lime flower honey. It is SOOOO good. Unfortunately I can only buy it at the farmer's markets that are only on twice a month, or I have to drive to another town. I am so jealous of all that seafood. Enjoy!

Lo sorry to hear you've been so sick. Pneumonia is awful and takes forever to get rid of then add on the back/pain, just awful.
