Obama's Inaugural Lunch Menu’s Been Revealed – Here’s How to DIY at Home!

The three-course farm-to-table menu features bison, pie and the president’s least fave food -- beets:

The luncheon menu usually honors past presidents (Obama's last lunch paid homage to Abraham Lincoln), but for his second time up to the plate, the commander-in-chief chose to spotlight artisanal, sustainable and, where possible, local foods from around the country to coincide with this year’s inaugural theme -- "Faith in America’s Future." Plus, he wins major hubby points for supporting his wife and first lady Michelle Obama’s farm-to-table initiative.

I love the bison, one of our favorite meats.  I'm with the president on beets.  I won't eat them.

I don't like beets either, and I've never eaten bison. What does it taste like?

I suppose the closest comparison would be beef, but bison/buffalo is higher in protein and lower in cholesterol and fat than beef.
