APPLE NUTMEG CRISP

MAKES 8 SERVINGS.

2 cans 21 oz each apple pie filling
2 tbs butter
TOPPING---
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, cubed
1 egg, beaten
vanilla ice cream

Place pie filling in an 11x7" baking dish, dot with butter. Combine flour and next 3 ingredients in a bowl. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in egg until moistened, sprinkle over filling. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min. or until topping is golden brown and filling is bubbly. SERVE warm with ice cream...
