Checking In
Tue, 07-30-2013 - 12:39pm

Seems like all my posts anymore are just apologizing for not being able to post.   It'll be two weeks Thursday since I was able to log on from my house.   I'm at work now.

Any food inspiration out there?   Anyone out there?

I am out of gas for my grill.   I mixed up Panko, flour, and some seasonings last night, coating and baking pork chops in it.   With that we had Betty Crocker Scalloped Potatoes, and salads.

Tonight I have hamburger laid out.   I'm thinking a hamburger/tomato soup/cheese/ noodles casserole.

Hi Tracy —

I'm glad to see you were able to get on.

If there are any others who are experiencing log in issues, here are the suggestions we've sent to Tracy:

· Try another browser. Unfortunately sometimes it can be hit or miss, but there is a definite issue with IE as we've seen the biggest complaints come from users using it. I've tested the following browsers, as have others, and they appear to work the best: Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.

· Force log in bookmark link. Sometimes (and they are currently working on correcting this) the cache holds onto the log in information. When you first arrive on the boards, it may appear that you're logged in, but if you refresh, you'll notice that you are not. To circumvent this, please bookmark this link:

Once you hit submit, you'll be automatically brought to the board. Please refrain from navigating the site until the page has refreshed and you see your info listed under the quick links column. **You can replace the red part of the URL with that of any board/folder you wish.

· Give it a minute (or two). As stated above, there is a known (complicated) issue with the log in cache system. This means that it takes a moment or two, depending on your own internet speed, for the system to officially log you in. Once you hit sumbit after logging in, give it a moment for the system to log you in across the site.

Most importantly: do not navigate away from the page while the log in is happening. It will reset the process and you'll end up caught in a loop. I've also found it to be more difficult to log in from "start a discussion" or "reply." Your best bet is to log in first.

Hello there,
Very hot this whole summer.   I have fizzled out so what is everyone doing these days?  How is the weather where you are at?
I'm about ready to have some ice cream.  It is getting late now, so I will come back again soon.  I'll try it again on my ipad as I am on my desktop now.  I'm going in to Anchorage this weekend and I may get a new desktop computer.  It has been a long time since I have gotten a new one.  I wish the gateway store was still in Anchorage, but it is not.
Later gator~~~~~~~~ Smileycons!Smileycons!

I've been having a horrible time logging in too, not like anyone is missing me.  Thanks for the logging in tips, but I use Chrome and still have trouble.  Most days I don't have time to fool with it if I can't get in on the 1-2-3 try.

None of us has the time or patience to go through 8 log-in attempts!

I just say "the heck with it" and do something else.

At least we can keep up on Facebook.  Wait a minute; wasn't this supposed to be more like Facebook?

LOL Karen... I think you are right! I seemed to have logged on with no problem today. It is so hit & miss...
