Would you rather watch a sitcom, a reality show,
a police drama, a legal drama, or a medical drama?

I think sit-coms are still my favorite.   But, sadly, there are few good ones on now.   I love Big Bang Theory.

sitcom for sure.  I agree with Tracy....VERY few good ones on now.  I don't think there are enough family orientated shows on anymore.  Too many shows that I don't like my 6 and 10 yo's watching.  When the girls are watching with us we usually have it on the Science, History, or Discovery channels.

I like sitcoms the best I guess.  I love The Big Bang Theory too. I also really like Mike and Molly. They crack me up.  I usually watch the ones around them, but don't really care if I see them or not.   I also watch Grey's Anatomy and my soap opera General Hospital, so thats two are what dramas???  We spend a lot of time on Nick, Disney etc. I like Storage Wars and House Hunters for my "reality" shows.

Well, I like them all. We are TV junkies in our house. You guys are right though, very few family-oriented shows. As a family we watch American Idol, Survivor, Amazing Race, DWTS,  Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares.I watch Dance Moms with the girls.  Seems to be all reality shows. Ray & I watch Criminal Minds and Bones. I also like Grey's Anatomy. That new show with Kevin Bacon, The Following, looked really good. I watched it on Monday. I don't really need another show to watch.

I use to love sit-coms but there are just not any I like out there now.  It is just about all reality TV for me now. Cooking shows, Pawn Stars, Project Runway, What Not To Wear, Long Island Medium, Chopped, Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen, The Voice, American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance.  And of course the mindless stuff that pulls me in like Toddlers and Tiaras, Honey Boo Boo, Moonshiners, etc.

Well I guess police drama.

I like  the shows like  Inspector Lewis  ( the guy who used to work with Inspector Morse) , Criminal minds  but I also like Road wars and the other  reality shows about the Brittish police force and  112 på Liv och Död, a reality show about Swedish police and medics.

Honestly,  Cooking shows beat every one of these, either with  Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall or the Hairy Bikers.

I almost never watch TV as it is broadcast anymore - either I don't want the boys watching it, or it is on too late, or we are not home.... When we do watch, it is usually the Food Network. In general I prefer police dramas - Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, NCIS, etc.

Anybody else catch The Taste? We watched most of the first night, but I just couldn't stay up until 10. Two hour premier really started to drag, although we really like the idea! I guess there was a 'part 2' that was also 2 hours. Didn't even attempt that one. I am going to look and see if it is on the network website.

I used to watch the food shows - now really nothing.

John watches O'Riely, pawn shows, criminal shows and movies with history. We watch Joel Olstein on Sunday mornings and NASCAR talk shows are starting.

I 'listen' while he watches..
