Is anyone planting or growing anything this year?

In a garden or pot?

What are you growing?

Do you eat what you grow right away or preserve it for later?

Is anyone planting or growing anything this year?   I am

In a garden or pot?   In a garden

What are you growing?  So far I have strawberries, blackberries, broccoli, basil, garlic, banana peppers, bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, and potatoes.   I put in zinnia and sunflower seeds this weekend.   I will do flowers in the front garden bed in a few weeks.

Do you eat what you grow right away or preserve it for later?   I eat all of it right away.   I don't grow enough to preserve anything.

Is anyone planting or growing anything this year?  I am planning on doing something small.

In a garden or pot?  I am thinking of doing something with a pallet that I seen on Pinterest.

What are you growing?  Probably tomatoes, banana peppers, green peppers, onions and of course I still have my blackberry bush.

Do you eat what you grow right away or preserve it for later?  I will more than likely not have enough to preserve except maybe freezing some of it.  If I have enough tomatoes, peppers & onions I may make some salsa.

But... ALL the above depends on how much energy I have... I am pretty much pooped every day after work.  Who knows... I may just forget it all together like I did last year.

NOPE. Erick and I are terrible with gardening. We even managed to kill a rosemary plant!   Doug gave us a planter with hops that he swears we can just totally ignore and they will grow like weeds. We will see. He said that about the raspberry bush he gave us a couple years ago.... Innocent

I did plant before, but stop because I don't have much time to take care of it.

Is anyone planting or growing anything this year?  Yes we are!

In a garden or pot? Garden - - some flowers in pots

What are you growing? So far we have planted, lettuce, onions, garlic, cabbage, corn and cucumbers. I think that is all so far.

Do you eat what you grow right away or preserve it for later?  We eat most of it right away. Mom makes pickles with the cucumbers and if we do tomatoes and they actually grow, she makes tomatoe juice with them.

I want to do something small.  Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and green beans.

For preserving I buy sweet corn and green beans and freeze them.  I hope to can some pickles, tomato juice, spaghetti sauce, and pizza sauce.  I will most likely have to buy tomatoes too. I found a particular farm at the farmers market that I like a lot of their stuff, so I order from them, they bring it to the farmers market and then I work on preserving it.

I am designing a sunny border garden in Pennsylvania. The border will go down the side of the front walk, run in front of one side of the house and wrap around the corner, ending at the driveway. it will be about 30 feet long from beginning to end, I have a lot of existing plants that I can include.   I'd like to include stella d'oro lillies, boxwood, a small "statement" evergreen (ex: dwarf alberta spruce), irises, liriope, roses, daffodils,a lilac shrub, hardy azeleas. Would anyone be willing to help me design this garden?
