Grab & Go snack ideas?

Hey ladies, I was wondering if you all have any great "grab and go" snack ideas? My kids are always starving after school, so I always bring a snack for them to eat in the car. There's a fantastic granola bar recipe I use often, sometimes I mix up a big batch of trail mix, and often times I just grab some fruit on the way out the door. I think the kids are getting sick of the same old, same old though.

Have you tried Energy Bites?

Mix raw oats, honey or molasses, flax seeds, and coconut. Form into 1" balls. Refrigerate.

My kids eat a lot of string cheese with Triscuits.

What a fun idea with the peanut butter! I'll give that a try!

I seen an idea the other day.... get a jar with a lid and put peanut butter in the bottom of it... maybe an inch or two... then insert celery sticks so the kids can dig into the peanut butter with them... I think you could probably do the same with cream cheese and celery sticks.

My girls always liked saltines spread with peanut butter too as an after school snack.
I've been thinking of doing this too...
Dehydrated Cinnamon Apple Slices
  • 2 apples
  • Cinnamon
  • Remove apple core. Thinly slice the entire apple.
