Cara - I cannot even imagine what It must be like to drive on the roads with people not used to driving in that much snow! Hope Eric made it safe and sound. And glad he fed the kids:). Never thought of a chef being essential personnel, but forgot about college kids who have to eat.
I am jealous of your snow. We got less than an inch yesterday and the girls wanted to stay out in it all day. Of course it was heavy and mostly slush, so they got soaked pretty fast. I just want a nice nor'easter to dump a couple of feet. Is that too much to ask? I do live in Boston. Snow is supposed to be on the agenda in the winter.
I used to work at a nursing home and they would go pick people up. We would have people call in that lived in town a few blocks away...HELLO people...walk you lazy punks!
