Yay! I'm happy for you. That confirmation and actually seeing the little peanut makes it feel real, doesn't it?

Yay for a great visit, Mel. I'm excited for you. DS's due date was 9/11 too. But I had him on 9/7. Now I'm excited for your next ultrasound. Boy or girl? Or still chance for two?

Well I think Im supposed to be having the NT scan done (nuchal translucency) which is done between 11 and 14 weeks.... This prenatal test (also called the NT or nuchal fold scan) can help your healthcare practitioner assess your baby's risk of having Down syndrome (DS) and some other chromosomal abnormalities as well as major congenital heart problems.

My family doctor suggested it, but my obgyn was the one who got me the appointment for the dating ultrasound....

The next ultrasound is between 18-20 weeks I think? to check the anatomy of the baby, and also the gender!
