He is more than adorable Gaye!  I don't think you will have him for very long.

Gemini is still here.  He is a work in progress.  Four years old, but it's like raising a puppy.  He spent his whole life in a barn with 40 other dogs, in a muddy pasture in Iowa.  No heat; no air conditioning.  Little human interaction.  He is sweet and friendly, but he has no manners and he is not potty trained.

Pug rescue brought back 37 pugs, one Brussels Griffon, one long-haired chihuahua, one poodle, one elderly Jack Russell, and 9 English bulldogs.  Lone Star Bulldog Rescue and Short Mugs Rescue took the bullies, who are in terrible shape.  One of the male pugs died in surgery.  Pug rescue kept the four random breeds, they are being treated at the vet clinics, and they will be listed on the website as "imposters."  That leaves forty dogs from this transport, plus the regular local ones from shelters and owner surrenders.

The people whose rescue job is "matchmaker" are overwhelmed with pug and adoption applications.  It will take a while for all of this to filter through.  Meanwhile, I'm trying to train a four-year-old puppy.

On the flip side, I just spoke with Roo Ben's adopter, and everything is going fine there!!!
