Monday Menu and Such

Well, well... I was able to get logged on from my work computer on the fourth try.   I have not been able to log on from my home computer since Thursday morning.  I try every day, multiple times a day.   I was logged in that morning, by that evening it was gone and no matter what I have tried, it WILL NOT let me log in.   It spins and then I am still not logged in.   I wait and wait.   Nothing.   I log in again.   I wait.   I refresh.   I turn the computer off and back on.   I log in.  I wait.   I refresh.   You get the picture.   Nothing works.   It's getting worse for me, not better.

That said, I had a busy weekend of baseball.   Tonight is baseball practice, if it's not rained out, and cat bathing night.   DD and I need to get the cats washed and their flea stuff applied.   I have yet to see a flea in my house all summer, but one cat has been scratching a lot.   She has very sensitive skin.

Supper is homemade pizza.   I have a bonanza of banana peppers in my garden so pepperoni and banana pepper pizza it is.

I've been trying to post for days but the posts either just disappear or I wait and wait and wait and nothing happens after I hit post.

How many cats do you have Tracy?  We have two of our own, plus our son's cat, who has been here for a few years now and at the moment we are also looking after his girlfriend's cat while they are travelling overseas.

Monday is now long gone, but for the record we had lamb wraps, made with left over lamb from our roast on Sunday.

Tracy may not be able to log back in but I do know she has 2 cats... lol. I cannot imagine trying to give a cat a bath... giving my dog, Brady, a bath is bad enough! I made baked fish, mac & cheese (the Kraft box kind) and green beans for supper Monday... and believe it or not it tasted like a gourmet meal because I have not been cooking very much lately! LOL

Is it still hot where you are Daisy?  We had our coldest overnight temp of the year so far yesterday,  -6C/21F, which is considered very cold by local standards.

No, actually it cooled down quite a bit! And I love it... I am not a hot weather girl unless I have a pool of water nearby... beach, swimming pool, pond, lake... whatever... lol. I don't mind the hot when I can cool down or sit/float in the water but if I don't have that... I am mostly inside where it is nice & cool. It's 58F right now which i believe is 14C (if my calculations are correct) and supposed to get up to 71F/21C (?) which is just a little below normal for this time of year here in Michigan. But... i like it! It's supposed to be in the 70's all week with the exception of Thursday where it might make it to 80. Yeah... 21F is cold... not looking forward to that this winter!! =)

I'm not a hot wether person either Daisy, although I should be used to it.  I'm glad to hear that your temperatures have come down.  Last year was our hottest summer on record, so much so that our weather bureau had to come up with additional colours on the weather maps to cover temperatures above 50C/122F.  We also have to worry about bushfires in our area, in 2003 we lost  4 lives over 500 homes when a bushfire could not be contained and roared into town.  Our part of town was spared but it's something I hope we don't have to go through again.

I do love the heat.   Our summer has been way too cold for my liking.   I love walking outside after sunset in the summer and a huge wall of heat slaps you in the face.   The heat, the heavy humidity-  love it all.

And yes, I have 2 cats: Snoopy and Lilly.   They are our babies.
