Any big plans for ringing in the New Year??
We're going to take the girls out to eat and then come home and play games. We'll dig into the board games, cards, and the Wii. I'm going to have summer sausage, cheese, and crackers and hopefully we'll make "sticky" corn (basically caramel corn). I'll have homemade lemonade and OJ for my vodka mixes and I have a few of the Bacardi strawberry pouches in the freezer. New Years Day morning I'm going to make my mom's cinnamon rolls. Kind of a semi-homemade recipe using frozen bread dough and covering it with a cinnamon/brown sugar mixture, letting it rise all night and then baking it in the morning.
I also want to get some of the plastic wine glasses and make some of these. I think the girls will really enjoy them and they look super easy.

Looks like you have a fun night planned, Susan. Jeff and I were supposed to have another couple over here then we were all four going to a small bar we like. Well, they cancelled a few days ago and we haven't come up with anything else since. Jeff and I may just go hang out at his house with some movies and video games in front of a fire. That sounds good to me.
No big plans here - we will be returning from Alderbrook in the afternoon on New Years Eve, and haven't really thought that far ahead. New Years has never been a big thing for us.
Nothing too exciting here... Im working till 5pm... We will be watching either dvds, or something on netflix!
No big plans for us either. Not a big fan of going out on New Year's Eve any more. Have done plenty of that in past years. We are both just happy to stay home and enjoy a nice dinner in front of the fireplace. We will watch a movie or something have a champagne toast and most likely NOT make it to midnight - lol!
No plans here. Probably sit and watch TV and then go to bed and sleep ringing in the new year LOL
Nothing here either. Not a big fan of New Year's celebrations. Maybe because I've done them enough in the past. Happy to watch Ryan Seacrest ring in the New Year.
No big plans here either...
Fire in the fireplace- munchie food - I got some of them TGI Friday snacks - open the doors at midnight and yell Happy New Year !
Susan let us have that cinamon roll recipe =)..
Going to post it now Renee! I even took a couple pictures this morning!
I wrote in the Babble post about stealing the cinnamon roll idea. I haven't homemade them in years. Here they are before going in the oven. They are still rising.
And the rolls out of the oven:

And then iced:
