I don't think there is any way they can do this book justice.
I am almost afraid to see it.
Geof and I each got a settlement check in the mail this week for $18. Class action suit that was filed for fees that Bank of America overcharged for currency conversion. The suit happened to be when we were in Europe for our sailing trip and we dropped a lot of coin on that trip. So, totally unexpectedly we each got a small check. Not much, but enough to take myself to the movies with! I'm sure the movie will not do the book justice, and I'm having a hard time seeing Katherine Heigl as Stephanie, but they nailed Lula and Vinnie and Ranger for what my imagination had dreamed up. Morelli is way off. I'm looking forward to just being entertained for an evening. The preview looks pretty good:)

My sister got me 18 for Christmas.
The only person I "know" in the line up is Stephanie and LuLu. I think LuLu is a great casting. Stephanie, not so much. They should have gotten a "nobody" so we would have preconceived notions.
Me and my girls were going to see it tomorrow night but I forgot it was my daddy's birthday so I asked my parents to come over for tacos instead... it's his favorite meal. My mom's birthday is Feb 12th so we're doing a two-fer.... celebrating her birthday too.
