Okay, I give. I am doing it. I miss PPWM too much.
I want to babble. I think you all want to babble. So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed. I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good. I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed. One day.
For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt. He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night. At her last check in, he’s down to 99. She’s calling the coordinator this morning.
I had my work party last night. I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits. I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before. I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.” I love it when I bring the most popular dish. There wasn’t a scrap left.
Off to get dressed for work. As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd. And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Wow - looks like everyone went away for the weekend. Guess I am just talking to myself. Tell the truth Ladies is it my perfume keeping you all away? I brushed my teeth and took a shower and put on deodorant so it's can't be that. Sigh.
Well I am up and just about ready to go to woek at the open house again today. Sure hope it is better than yesterday. Had 5 people show up. All people I have spoken with several times before. Three of them are just what we call "tire kickers". One came back without his wife to pick out an apartment (already showed him 3 other properties and the one same one again yesterday. One is well how can I say this in a nice way - a bit odd - she wants to transfer from another property (one that is only 2 years old to one that is 13 years old and at a higher rent). She came with her daughter who told her she was on her own. She was not going to help her pack up move nor help pay the higher rent. Oh well no one listened to me in the office when I told them a today open house at this property would be a total waste of time.
AS long as Chritine is fine is all that matters Gaye. no one needs to know the details.
Webster can hold everthing all day and all night long as long as he remembers to do so. His problem is he does not remember he is suppose to go outside to do his business. I keep telling him it is a good thing we both love him to pieces. At his age someone else might have made a different decision for him.
Condensed version:
RooBen had diarrhea all over my house twice Thursday morning.
I had to leave Thursday at 2 to go to Christine's.
I bought RooBen doggie diapers. Not wonderful, but they help. He can hold his water, but not the other. He spent a lot of time in Christine's garage.
Christine's surgery went well yesterday. We checked in at 5:30 AM and were home in her house before 11. She asked that I not post anything on FB because it was "female" surgery, and she didn't want to have to explain.
I came home late this morning.
I just typed a great big long update, and there is nothing there. Nothing! I am so angry!
Happy Belated Birthday to Natalie !!!
Not too late Sandy- and every one else thanks for your input.. We are going to get the carpet cleaner tomorrow morning- wanted to make sure she was 'done' ....
Just hanging our on this cold dreary day... I did clean both bathrooms =).
Susan you said Nat is ELEVEN!!!!!! YIKES!!!! I rember her 1st day of school like it was yesterday! Crap in two years you will have a teenage girl in the house - oh boy watch the hormones start to fly!
Renee I may be too late on this but Bissell has a great dog pre-treat stain removal product. I have become pretty much a dog poop and pee on the carpet stain expert. Poor Web is 15 going on 16 and he has dementia. He can hold it. That isn't the problem. He has just forgotten where he is at times and thinks he is outside when he is inside. Poor guy but we still love him.
Renee - I would google and see what other people say. I've used a carpet cleaner, but never to get stains out, just to clean. Make sure you go slow! There are some pet pretreaters out there that you can buy.
Lazy day here. My house is still pretty clean from last weekend, so just some light cleaning today. Catching up on laundry and dishes. Natalie is at a friends house until 4:30. I'm making her chicken pot-pie (the pie kind) for supper tonight. Grandparents and godparents are coming over for cupcakes and ice cream tomorrow (yesterday was her 11th birthday).
Welp, better go check the laundry.
Good Morning ladies!
Welcome back Gus!
Daisy- the april 11th anniversary is when we got legally married at the courthouse.... and we had a fake ceremony with all the bells and whistles on august 23rd, because FIL was too sick to come to the april one... he just had his operation done for prostate cancer....
We had dinner out last night! was so yummy! I had a cheese and bacon burger and fries, and DH had ribs and fries, I ate some of the ribs too... and we had a coupon for a free appetiser so we got chicken spring rolls! yum!
Renee- Yuck on the doggy diareah! ( sorry about the spelling) Snoopy had that the other day, but thankfully just did it outside lol. it was a few hours after the little bugger found a pork chop bone in the garbage bin, so probably too much fat for his tummy.
Well we only got a dusting of snow thank goodness... but they are predicting more tonight.. boo DH needs to dig in the shed either today or tomorrow for the car battery charger, so he can get my car going! We had a good chat about it last night, and Im going to book myself into drivers ed again, the next dates that work with our schedules is end of may...
sorry if I missed anyone, but just noticed the time, I gotta get my butt ready for work! have a great saturday everyone!
Sorry, Renee, no experience with carpet cleaners. I do think vinegar is the miracle cure for everything else, so maybe that would work?
Sandy, working all weekend is awful. Ugh!
Guss, great to have you back.
I'm off to the ballpark.
