Okay, I give. I am doing it. I miss PPWM too much.
I want to babble. I think you all want to babble. So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed. I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good. I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed. One day.
For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt. He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night. At her last check in, he’s down to 99. She’s calling the coordinator this morning.
I had my work party last night. I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits. I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before. I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.” I love it when I bring the most popular dish. There wasn’t a scrap left.
Off to get dressed for work. As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd. And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Definately an interesting winter so far. But, so far no snow days. Love that.
And it's almost February. Come on mild temps, keep a tight grip on this thing. You can do it.
It started snowing here about 7:00 and we have about an inch or so already. Weather called for 2 inches. GAG
I am getting a cold, good thing I have a doctor's appointment in the morning, I can see what he has to say about it. Scratchy throat, stopped up nose, eyes feel like they are gonnapop out of my head and I am just exhausted!!!!!!!!!
I posted this picture on FB and Tracy commented on it about Jeffrey looking grown up :( makes me sad that my baby is growing up!

I got new blinds for the windows today, but they are to narrow, I'll take them back and get the right ones.

I swear Jeffey does look older to me in that picture. I hate that too. DS is still holding on to his super soft baby cheeks. Hers are long gone. It will be a sad, sad day for me when he loses that baby face entirely.
We have a great chance for snow overnight tonight. I hope it's a miss. If it's not we'll get our first snow day of the year tomorrow.
I got up early again today and hit the 30 Day Shred. That's three days in a row. My alarm is now set for 4:50. I may take tomorrow off and work out hard Saturday and Sunday. I know the scales aren't giving me much encouragement, but I swear I think my clothes are fitting better. It's a start. I have modified so many things, like water to drink all day instead of my morning coffee, no desserts, and limiting my carbs, that it is discouraging to have such slow progress. Oh well, I won't quit.
I get another free night tonight and then my most dreaded game of the year. I entered this one on my phone calendar back in October. This is the school that my school despises. Mutual feeling. They are the most pentalized school in KY sports history for their recruiting practices. Our athletic director turned in tons of the violations. They hate us. We hate them. It's a tension filled, high energy, ugly mess every time we meet. And I hate it. One of my close friends has a senior there this year. Her son is scanning the Twitter feeds for me and said he'd let me know any anticipated drama on their end. So far we are good, but you just never know.

It is freezing cold here again today and once again I will have to be out in it on appointments. They are also saying we may get some light snow Friday into Saturday but most of it will go out to sea thank goodness.
I heard on the news that someone took a pole and asked which do you prefer -
Temperatures with wind chill factors below zero or
Temperatures with heat factors over 100
Guess what most people picked.
Wow Tracy! you go girl! doing the 30 day shred! I have the dvd somewhere, but the dvd player remote is MIA... I dunno how to work the dvd player without it lol. so Im sticking to exercising on the wii for now!

Still freaking cold here this morning... still got that wind chill warning in effect! Brrrrrrrrr
When DH got home from work this morning, he asked me if I find it cold in the house... dumb question, when Im wam and cosy in bed! lol
We got about 3 inches and it's still snowing and Nope, no school here today. I was supposed to have a doctor's appointment at 9:30, but everyone is saying the roads are really bad, I'm gonna call and cancel it. Even though I feel like crap, I don't want to risk it.
WTG Tracy on the working out and modifing!!! I need some will power, but don't know here to get any. Glad no work tonight, and stay safe tomorrow night!!!!

That is no good on the bad roads on doctor day, Shelly. Lots of Tylenol and water.
I am clarifying my last post. I had editing because it sends your post down to read as the latest post written. I have NOT given up coffee. I am drinking water with meals except for my morning coffee. I wrote that wrong. I doubt I will ever give up my morning coffee. I am also on a slow process to train myself to drink it black.

Sandy, Evey doesn't really interact with other kids, like she can be around them but she usually won't play with them. Like she prefers to play alone and then at some point the noise overwhelms her and she walks away. She really doesn't like strange kids she has never seen, tells me she is scared of them....
Lots going on here. Signing Evey up for pre-school. David got orders to Germany, we will see if Evey can go or not and what that means...so yeah

That is one fine looking boy there, Guss. Were either of you two blondies as a baby?
Guss I agree with Tracy about that being one handsome little guy you have there! With regards to Evey, does she interact with her brother? Trying the pre-school might help her but the only way to know for sure is to try it.
Shelly the only place to find that will power is deep in side of YOU. That's where it is hiding. You just need to go find it and use it.
