Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Mel - funny picture.  No big plans.  We're having cake and ice cream with the grandparents this afternoon.  I thought about a movie, but there are no kids movies playing right now.

Oh and daddy brought home flowers and a balloon for the birthday girl.

Ok - so I have been cleaning house for 4 hours.  Still can't get out our front door, garage or the sliders to the back deck.  Roads are still closed for all vehicles except emergency BUT the sun is out!  No more snow falling - just blowing and drifiting.  There is over 2 feet in front of our garage doors, over 3 feet on the back deck up against the slider and well over 4 feet off the front porch and on the front walkway.  Hmmmm - may be house bound for a while.  Nice that we do not have to shovel since we live in a condo.  We will just need to get the back deck cleared off once we can get out there.

My feet hurt and I am pooped.  Think I am going to go soak in the jetted tub.  I have my hair wrapped up with gook on it for a good conditiong treatment.  I'll let the steam do it's thing then jump in the shower to wash it all out.  Sounds like a good plan don't ya think?

By the way - anyone seen Tracy today????

Sandy, I've been watching your area on The Weather Channel. You guys have been blasted. Glad you have power and can just stay in with no place to go. I would be sitting by the fire with a movie.

Happy Birthday Brooks! She is so cute! Love the baby picture of her too!

Renee, yay for Maggie getting her license! Sounds like she's doing well.

Mel, that is a funny picture. Hope you can get the pregnancy pops. Glad you got a snow day.

Ray & Kelsie went to the Vanderbilt babsketball game. They have been on TV numerous times. Great seats!

Daisy, I wouldn't go near that Radiothong with a ten foot pole! They are the ones losing out.

Not much going on around here this weekend. Soccer will be starting for Kelsie in a couple weeks. Can't wait!!

I'm here, I'm here.

Susan, did someone tell dad what a cool idea it would be to get his DD flowers for her birthday?   I love her footed jammy picture.  Too cute.  I miss that age.

Love SEC basketball, well, really all SEC sports, Missy.   Hope they had fun.   I saw a thing on Facebook on football signing day saying that the signees were 5 the last time the SEC didn't win the BCS.

Renee, I bet Maggie is thrilled.   She should be proud of herself.   Any luck at the casino?   Find that 17 machine?   That Dom is sure a cute baby.   I love seeing his pictures on FB.

Sandy, I am speechless on the snow.   I would be miserable.   But I can hang with you on the cleaning.   I started with a way dirtier place though.

I got up and went to Lowe's and Wal Mart.   I then went to my friend's house (the friend you met, Daisy).   I was there by 9:30.   We scrubbed for 3 hours.   I think her squatter didn't clean one time in the 9 years he was there.   And he was a heavy smoker.   With 3 dogs.   There are NO words for the filth that was festering in there.   Absolutely disgusting.   Code Enforcement shut down material.   I cannot even begin to describe the smell.  We used bleach and hot water and just attacked.   One of our friends met us for lunch and then we went back and I helped her for another hour.   I went home, showered, and went to work.   From work I went to DS's basketball game.   The plan was to make tacos, but I am exhausted.   My arms and shoulders are aching.  I haven't used that much muscle to clean ever.

Check it out.

She is going to rip out this horrendous cest pool of filth and Jeff is going to put down laminate in this room for her.

Look at that junk oozing down the wall.   All the walls had similar flith, like food and drinks had been flung and no one cleaned them up.  Some of that dirt swept up, but most was hardended into the linoleum.

This was the kitchen floor in most places.   Just absolute filth.   Friend said she wanted to cry.   It was hard to know what to do first.

I am going back to help her more tomorrow and then I'll help her paint next weekend.   Her husband, or anyone else in her family, hasn't offered any help.   As she said this morning, you sure do find out who your friends are.  I have no time for this and I have my own house to take care of.   But I cannot leave her with that to tackle alone.
