Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Morning Ladies -

Yes Tracy ""Nemo" is headed right at us and the local weathermen are already getting everyone all "jazzed up".  Our next door neighbor works for WNBC (there local station is just a couple of miles from where we live) and we saw him last night.  He said their weather guy was looking at the storm and predictions coming in from the national weather and they said up to 40 inches of snow!  WTH!!!!  That is over 3 feet of the Angel Poop!  Now on the news this morning our local guy put on his stern face and said the local know New England better than the national guys and the local boys are saying 1 - 2 feet of Angel Poop!  REALLY?????? One - two inches of the crap is way too much for me these days!  Oh well bring it on I guess.  They are saying starting around midnight tonight straight on through till mid day on Saturday with the heavy stuff starting late afternoon on Friday.  Well today the sunrise is just beautiful.  I'll take for now.

Sandy, buckle down and stay warm. I hope they are wrong about 3 feet. Ugghh

Tracy, I hear ya on the board problems. Some days I don't have the time or patience to sign in continually.

Just found out Hunter's dad is filing for visitation. He came to see him one time a year ago. Tory has gone up to Baltimore a few times and drops him off with his mom. Most of the time he is not around. I don't know what will happen or how it even works when they live in different states. I just hope the judge looks at his wrap sheet. He has countless convictions all pretty much drug related. But some how manages to get himself out of serving jail time. Seems like if you want to break the law you should move to Maryland. We warned Tory this would happen eventually. Poor Hunter.

Sandy & Mel...hunker down and stay safe!

Tracy - did you post the chicken breast recipe in the folder?  It sounds good!

Missy - I hope the judge looks at his past and realizes it wouldn't be a smart move.

Busy, busy day at work.  We're submitted a huge bid for a local university.  Just had a minute to stop in.

Picked up my new foster pug this morning.  Roo Ben.  He is huge - 32.4 pounds.  Nine years old.  When he coughs, he sounds like a barnyard hog.

 Good picture of Roo Ben!

Just a few minutes to pop in tonight. P and I left this morning and had a day out together. He hadn't been out since last Thursday, except aquicktrip to his rental house at work yesterday. And he was feeling good, and we needed a few things from Lowes/Home Depot.  So we went to Red Lobster for lunch and then hit up a few stores and got the stuff we needed.

Unfortunatally, he got sick again, before we made it to Lowe's and then had to stop on the way home. And was sick from the timewe got home until about 2 hours ago. We were thinking of heading back to the ER/Clinic, but he went to bed and has been "puke free" for about 2 hours.

Tomorrow will be house cleaning day. Gonna steam clean my new floor and clean the kitchen.  I have a load of laundry ti put away and all of the clothes we bought the boys (and me) today. And I would like to strip the bed P is sleeping in and get it washed and lysol it down for him.

And as much as I hate to admit it, my outside Christmas lights are still up and I would like to get them down if it is as warm as they say it is going to be (53*) tomorrow. But we shall see, LOL

Sandy~ Hope you stay clear of Nemo!!

Morning Ladies -

Shelly sounds like a nice day out for you except for "P" getting sick again.  Hope he is feeling better today.

Well the blizzard is on it's way.  It isn't doing much right now so I will go into the office to get in my "brownie points" but will be leaving early.  They are telling everyone to try and be off the roads between 1 & 2 this afternoon.  Ok - I can do that.  But really the weather guys do hype it up a lat.  We should be fine around here until late this afternoon when the storm is expected to really start to kick our butts.  It is really kind of exciting to tell you the truth.  Tomorrow is Saturday so no place I have to be and we live in a condo so we do not have to shovel our way out.  As long as the power stays on we will be fine.

Susan, that recipe I made the other night is posted on here.   I bumped it up yesterday, only this great new format won’t let us bump posts.   So, it’s still on page 2, showing a recent comment.   First word is Bacon.   I think it’s called Bacon and Cheese Wrapped Chicken Breasts.

Daisy, how is the basement?   Dry yet?   The clean up done?   When do you get to go replacement shopping?

Gaye, Roo Ben looks adorable.   Enjoy your time with him.

Shelly, envious of the Red Lobster.   I love seafood and would have been in heaven.   I am surprised that you said you don’t like seafood as I thought you do eat fish.   I love fish.   Mmmm…   fish, cheddar biscuits, salad… hungry now.

Missy, that is a stressor for sure for your niece.   And sadly, she probably has about 17 more years of it.   I hope it goes okay.

Sandy, these storm warnings are crazy.   I hope the 5” drifts they are describing don’t happen.   Of course I know the media makes everything overly dramatic and jumps to worst case scenario every time.   Stay safe.   Hope your power stays on.

My last big overtime game of the year was last night.   Two to go.   I see the light at the end of the tunnel.   And I like it.   Softball tryouts are this coming Thursday and DS’s baseball tryouts (to move to a tougher division) are next Saturday.   Bring on spring!!

I checked on P before I got the boys up and he seems to be some better, no sick all night, so that is a plus.

I am watching Good Morning America and man the snow is pouring in NYC!!! Stay safe Sandy!!!!!!!!! I hope your electric stays on for ya!

Tracy ~ Sometimes I eat fish. Not always, depends on how "fishy" it smells.  We did order an appitizer, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed with cheese and crab (maybe, I don't remember now, and they were good. They weren't overly powerful with the sea food taste.

Today is cleaning day, ugggggggg LOL but first I'm gonna sit and do nothing with Sally laying on my lap and watch some TV.
