Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

I am grateful for the lack of snow here. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

Bingo sounds like fun, Daisy. Glad you have a happy houseful this week.

Mel, those pictures look great. I will say it again, I have got to get something together as far as taking some weight off. I'd go run today but I have been fighting a cold and my throat feels terrible.

I stayed late at game night last night. My old friend and I used to be magic together on board games. We thought exactly alike so we trounced our competion on stuff like Pictionary or Taboo. We played Catch Phrase last night and we still had it.

I have two rooms now deep cleaned. I really want to move my bed this week and deep clean out from undermeath it. I have Pergo floors in most of the house, and the bedroom is Pergo. So the dustbunnies under my bed are awful. I have lots of shoes crammed under there, as well as the dust. I need to vacuum the bunnies, scrub the floor, and organize shoes.

DD wants to hit the mall today to go to the Bath and Body Works sale. They do have great prices this time of year. I need to go wake her up.

Let me just state for the record that I HATE winter.  Do I really have to wear gloves and a scarf in the house?  Love my blankets and down comforter.  Which brings me to another story.

Jabaar woke me up from a sound sleep a little before 2 AM, congested, snuffling, and trying to blow his nose.  He appeared distressed, and I got up and got him a Benedryl and one of those U-shaped travel pillows to rest his chin on.  Then the dogs hogged the bed, and I couldn't get back to sleep, and **I** started wheezing.  By now, Jabaar is snoring loudly.  Don't know if mine was a panic attack, allergies or what, so I got up again and got myself a Benedryl.  Took the fleece throw and plopped myself down on the daybed in the room where the cat stuff is.  Dylan must have been worried about me, because he was all in my face, purring and pawing at me.  Well, I AM mildly allergic to cats when they are right in my face, so I shut him in the room by himself and hauled myself and the throw into the living room and tried the couch.  In the process, I woke up Amy's dog, who is crated at night -- in the living room -- and Pre started to whimper and whine.  Back to the bedroom.  Shut that door. Picked up 22 pounds of big black Pug and moved him to the other side of the bed.  Claimed my space, and finally fell asleep sometime between 3:30 and 4.  Oh, yes.  I had to work this morning, and the alarm went off at 6.

Mommee is not a happy camper.

Oh my goodness Gaye.  What a night - lol!  Sorry didn't mean to laugh but picturing the whole thing in my minds eye - well - LOL!

Going to tackle taking down the tree today.  They are saying we are going to get snow starting where we are around 10 - 11 this morning and won't stop till sometime Sunday morning.  This will be on top of some ice stuff we already have on the ground and roads.  Good day to just stay inside.

Sadly, my dreams of a green winter came to an end overnight.  I awoke to snow.   I hate snow and cold.   I need to go shovel the driveway.

We were supposed to go help my parents clean out a huge storage closet this morning.   At 11:00 DS has a baseball lesson.  I was going to stay and dump the closet with my mom while my dad took DS to the lesson.    No way am I putting my son in a car with my dad on slushy roads.   So we'll go help after his lesson.

Today is the big UK/Louisville basketball game.   I just haven't been into UK ball this year.   After winning the national championship last year, and then losing all 5 starters to the NBA, I don't even know any of the players.   And we aren't that good.   UL is going to kill us.   It'll be ugly.

DD is having a friend over to spend the night.  She has a DVR full of crap TV lined up for them to watch.   She is really into that American Gypsy show.   That is trash at it's best (worst).   I love it too.

Gotta decide what to make for supper.   Homemade pizza?   I have stuff for veggie beef soup and cornbread or would that be better tomorrow?   Spaghetti?   Tacos?   Pork chops?

I am getting ready to head out to the "Y" to get in a much needed Zumba work out.  It has not started to snow yet but it is on the way.  I should be able to get there and back with out too much trouble.

Tracy I love that American Gypsy show too!  I also was hooked on Breaking Amish.  Did you watch that one?

I am going with pasta for dinner tonight.

Happily, everyone slept like a log last night, and I feel much better today.  I shared that story because it IS funny.  Not funny at the time, but funny to tell.

It is clear and cold here.  All the snow is gone, and the dogs are willing to go outside again.  The two boys visited through the fence with the yappy little Yorkie behind us and actually ran around a bit.  Anya is grumpy and feeling her age, so she took care of business, came right in, and curled up on her new bed and blanket.

Amy and Mark come home tomorrow and will come get Pre, who misses his Mommy.  Pray for a safe drive; it took them 12 hours to get there, much of the way on icy roads.  Under all this stuff is Amy, announcing to the world that she DID ski, and did not break anything:

 I did it

Tracy, how much snow did you get? Ray has been praying for snow for us. I don't see it happening.

Homemade pizza sounds good.

We got an inch, maybe 1.5".   It's off the roads now, just wet and slushy.   It's still in the grass though.

The kids and I have worked all day at my parent's house cleaning out their huge closet.   They are getting new insulation.   They have the old fiberglass kind.   It's falling out.   So there was fiberglass everywhere.   DD and I came home feeling like we were itching out of our skin.   So we have both had showers.  We are now going to clean out from under my bed.

Had a fun day today.... went out for family breakfast, came home, took nap, woke up, watched Presley, went to pick up donuts, Luke & Presley came back over, I cooked tacos & then played games.... I was a floater for the 2 teams playing Outburst.... I won.... but I also lost!  LOL

I am zoning, ready to hit the hay.... my sister has had a migraine all day today, I hate when she gets those.

Tacos were a hit though....

Sorry I haven't commented on anyone's posts.... I read them, hit reply then Amber & Nick showed up to pick up the kids and now I cannot remember.

Hope everyone had a great Saturday!
