Q&E Babble
Fri, 12-21-2012 - 7:34am

Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

I am thinking BOY too =)..

81*  ?  It was about that earlier - been raining/pouring for like 3 hours now..

She is a state certified nurses aide.  First time taking it - where she is working they woould let her work for a period of time but if she failed or didn't take it they would fire her. She said alot of girls that worked there had to take it twice- and alot lost their jobs. I am very happy for her !

Taco soup sounded good and its done so I am gonna grab me a bowl ...

Happy Friday!   I woke up to a huge rainstorm.   It was raining so hard I was worried about my house.  But, it's slacked off now.

I put together a Crock Pot of chicken tortilla soup for tonight.   We have softball until about 8:00.  That'll be nice when we get home.

Mel, I am excited for your ultrasound.

Sandy, where are you this morning.   I am here late and you haven't posted yet.   That's unsual.

Anyone else here?   I am sitting hypnotized by this news from Boston.   Maybe Sandy is effected by the manhunt?   I did send a message to Candace on FB.   She answered and said they were out of town during the race, but she used to live right by the bombing site.   Very scary.

I really need to get my act together and start using the crockpot again... I bet your soup will be yummy Tracy!

Going to costco after work today to get a few things( they are the cheapest place for tortilla wraps, and salad), I need to start eating my salad wraps again... definently not eating enough veggies...

Glad to hear that Candace is okay!

Morning Ladies -

I am here Tracy.  I took today off as comp time for working last weekend.  Had all kinds of plans for the day but I feel like crap.  My coworker decided to share her nasty cold with me. Sigh.  Oh well.

Glad to hear Candace and her family are all ok.  She is more than likely in lock down today if she is home.  We are not effected that is of course unless the dude decides to get out of Dodge and head toward CT.  Watching it on TV is like watching a made for TV movie.  I just keep thinking this cannot be really happening.

Mel you did answer everyone's questions and the fact you have not even thought about girl names to me says you are going with team blue.  Well I would make a list of girl names if I were you.

I've been glued to the TV all morning. Scary stuff.

I always had boy names picked out and look what I ended up with. I was convinced I would have boys.

Glad to hear Candace is safe.

Sandy, hope you feel better soon.

I was convinced my second baby was a boy right into the delivery room.  (We didn't have ultrasound.)  His name was Christopher.  Ummmm - quick switch to Christine.

Having boys names picked out means it's a girl!  We had boys names both times with ours, no solid girls names until about 1 month out!

We have a meeting at work today and of course working with all guys, they wait until this morning to do things...and then that drags me into "please type this" and "can you make copies of this".  Blah.  Why are men procrastinators!

Home early today, thanks to late evening conferences on Wednesday. I had planned to stay at work and get things caught up, but I have a UTI and wound up having to go to urgent care for antibiotics. Sure wish my regular nurse practitioner had been in the office today - I think she would have just called it in for me. I got into a room quick, but it took forever for the doctor to show - like almost an hour. It is always like that there. Knew I needed to get in, though - didn't want to wait until Monday.
