Q&E Babble

Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Renee, I know you are as excited for the racing season as I am for the baseball season every year. I hope the weather holds. No more snow! It was crappy cold and windy here yesterday. Where are you, spring?

Shelly, that paper would make me cry too.   I would for sure show it to his therapist.   Has he met with her again?

DS's sickness does sound similiar.   Except there was 6 days in between.   Last week he burned a fever for 2 days, then felt fine.  This week, on Tuesday night, he said his stomach hurt and he ended up throwing up twice.   Once around 4:45 and again around 8:00.   No more nausea, but he said all day yesterday his stomach hurt really bad.  I plan on sending him to school today.   I think.   If I do, I am expecting a call by 10:00 telling me to come get him.   If he is near tears, complaining of pain, when I wake him up, he'll stay home.   I need to see if my dad can keep him today.   If not, that's all me since his dad took off yesterday.   DS is almost ready to stay home alone, but not all day, and not if he's really sick.   DD got comfortable with staying home alone while sick when she was 12- and aout halfway into her 6th grade year.

I just went to DS's room and checked on him.   I could audibly hear his stomach.   He's staying home today.   My dad is keeping him.

I have an hour of comp time from work.   I'm taking off an hour early today.   I'll change clothes and head right back to school.   It's softball home game night.  I'll open the concession stand by 3:45.   Seems crazy for a 6:00 game, but there is a ton to do.

Shelly, wow what a letter. He sure has gone through a lot.

Tracy, hope D feels better today.

Renee, I know you're excited for racing season to start.

Our computer konked out. I'm posting from the IPad. I can't figure out how to paste and post to QOTD so I will have to wait to get our computer back. Whenever that is supposed to be.

Now I can see it will only let me post much any words and it won't go any further. Annoying.

still going through clothes for the yard sale. Pretty sure I could open my own Goodwill store with all the crap I have. They are calling for a wash out day on Sat. Pray they are wrong.

I think it was Sandy that asked if it could be sun poisining, I am thinking it is, espically since the left half of my lips (top and bottom) are almost inside out with fever blisters. It looks awful and feels even worse. Good thing I don't have anything to do outside of the house, I would be too embarrased to go anywhere.

Mel~ Exciting about your mom coming. Hope she can stay and be there for the birth of the baby! How is Paul doing? Is he excited about the baby? What does he want boy or girl?

I hate getting ready for a yard sale too. SOooo much crap to do. ;) Good luck!

Tracy ~ Sure hope DS feels better soon!!!
