Okay, I give. I am doing it. I miss PPWM too much.
I want to babble. I think you all want to babble. So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed. I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good. I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed. One day.
For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt. He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night. At her last check in, he’s down to 99. She’s calling the coordinator this morning.
I had my work party last night. I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits. I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before. I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.” I love it when I bring the most popular dish. There wasn’t a scrap left.
Off to get dressed for work. As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd. And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Missy, that is some scary stuff. I hate it for that whole area.
I tell you what, I am loving the traffic going on here today.
I can't say for sure that i am "happy" but I am not unhappy either LOL. Time will tell and the boys love having him here.
I do love my new flooring, and I can't wait to get the kitchen done now.
Gus ~ I hope that you all can go to Germany, I mean if David has to go, it would be best for all of you to go. I know it would suck being away from him again, even though today you want to strangle him LOL
I have missed a lot being gone, and I hope to be back more often now that I don't have to sign in 14 times before I can post. I will try to read and catch up tomorrow.
Guss, I will fly out there and bust you out. No problem. And I don't blame you for being exasperated. I think that is a common battle with SAHMs and their spouse: just because you have been at work all day doesn't mean I have been on the couch eating chips and watching soap operas. And the one going to work thinks they have been at work all day so they need a break. I have no idea how you resolve that one. But I do know you both need some down time.
Shelly, we'll love having you back. Not being unhappy is better than nothing. I just hope for your boys' sakes P stops the revolving door act. That come and then go dad pattern he seems to have has to suck for them. I am sure they want him to stay.
So Guss did David end up sleeping on the couch last night? If not and you still need that bail I think I know where you can get one -

He didn't end up on the couch last night however he didn't get any either LOL. I get that he worked all day and is tired, and I don't mind doing the house stuff what I mind is him taking it for granted kwim? Like he doens't even throw his trash away from the lunch I pack him, he puts it back in the lunch box and then expects me to throw it away for him when I re-pack his lunch...not cool.
Whatever anywho Evey has school today so I have about 3 hours to try to clean before she comes home and messes it all up again. I need to run to Safeway for cat food too...my cat is really fat and eats too much LOL. I am almost out of laundry to do for the first time in weeks too!! Woot!
I need dinner ideas....
UGH!!!!!! I wrote a huge long post this morning. I highlighted and copied it. I posted. “website cannot be found.” I get that every single time I post. I have had luck with copying and then pasting what I lost. Not this time. I hit my back arrow and “paste” was grayed out. Banging my head on the desk. I am SO tired of posting here being a hassle. But, I will pick myself up, dust off, and start over. Again. The issues will NOT beat me.
Looks like we started out strong here yesterday and then everyone got busy. I sure did.
What did you end up cooking Guss? I made a bacn wrapped chicken breast recipe (described in the What's for Supper thread). It was really good. I have one leftover that I will take for lunch today.
Sandy, you bracing for this huge storm yet? Looks to me like Winter Storm Nemo is headed your way.

It's going to be be 60° here today, but our winter roller coaster is running strong. 60 today. 35 by Sunday.
Overtime tonight. Boo! Get me through tonight and I am so ready for the weekend.

We had pizza last night, be proud I actually had the energy to cut up some extra veggies to put on top! lol your bacon wrapped chicken sounds good!! We are having hamburgers tonight! which reminds me I better take the meat out of the freezer so it can thaw out!
