Q&E Babble

Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

I don't know why my Valentine's sig is popping up.  I changed it last week and when I go into my preferences, its the other picture.  And the threads aren't jumping to the new ones anymore.  1 step forward...2 steps back.

I'm having to sign in two and three times lately. I sign in, wait, and nothing happens. And my Valentine sig is showing too. I have heat. He took $70 off the bill for being so late. That works.

Susan at least you have a sig.  I can't get my to show up.

As far as being a dog whisper I wish I was so I could get inside Webster's head.  With Webster he is showing signs of dementia - thinks he is outside when he isn't - stands at the bottom of the stairs and barks his head off for no reason (he never use to bark at all) - wakes us up at 4 in the morning not because he wants to go out but because he wants breakfast.  We know his is mostly old age issues that is why I asked how old Chubbs is.  Six isn't old.  He could have a belly ache and can't hold it or he is just lazy OR he could be mad at you.  Has he been left home alone a lot lately?

Sandy - we haven't been gone more than usual.  I hope he does get ticked at us this weekend.  We're taking him to MIL's to puppy-sit while we're out of town Friday night.  We're going to drop him and his cage off and then she'll be there after work.  He knows her and her house, but I hope he isn't any trouble.  We'll be back on Saturday.  DH said he went home for lunch and Bubbers went straight outside and pooped.  I don't if his internal clock is off a little bit??

Mel - I know I need to drink more water.  I just don't care for plain water.  I am trying to get better about sipping on it through out the day. An ultrasound.  How exciting!!  I would be nervous with Sandy and her (always correct) predictions!  :)

Wow, Shelly, you have a memory!  Christine's back surgery was last April, and she is better than she has ever been.  No back pain at all, and she can even wear high heels again.  Just some ugly scars that prevent her from wearing a bikini in public anymore.  She flew to California on business this morning.  Thank you for asking about her.

Roo Ben is fitting in just fine here.  He is a good boy for the most part, and healthy for a nine-year-old.  He has had several poopy accidents in the house, and it appears he is unable to hold it well.  I have had him only about 10 days, so maybe we just aren't communicating yet!  He had a meet and greet with a potential adopter yesterday afternoon.  The young woman is also meeting with an older black pug with a different personality and a different set of issues.  She wants an older pug because she lives in an apartment and wants a less active, quieter pet.  We will see who gets the nod.

Susan is is more than likely just his internal clock off a bit.  Has it been unusally cold outside lately?

Gaye nice to hear your daughter is doing so well.  I am sure the scars are not pretty but who cares she can walk in heals again and no more pain.

Roo Ben - that name just cracks me up!  Is Roo Ben a funny guy?
