Okay, I give.   I am doing it.   I miss PPWM too much.

I want to babble.   I think you all want to babble.  So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed.   I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good.   I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed.   One day.

For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt.   He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night.   At her last check in, he’s down to 99.   She’s calling the coordinator this morning.

I had my work party last night.   I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits.   I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before.   I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.”  I love it when I bring the most popular dish.   There wasn’t a scrap left.

Off to get dressed for work.   As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd.   And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

Man o man, I'm having a hard time getting moving this morning.  I've been up for 3 hours and I still feel like I could take a nap.

Tracy - up here we just have more experience with the snow.  Basic rule - drive slower.  You have the people with 4WD and they think they can drink anywhere and do anything.  And you also have the people that should have stayed home and will drive 10 mph.  But ice is a different bread, all its own! Good luck with supper and homework!  I have 3 hours in the evening and sometimes I still wonder how we get it all done!

Renee - I hope the car stuff is straightened out soon.  No power steering?  You'll have some big guns here soon!  :)  I will shop around for the brakes and tires.  The place I had look at it comes to work and picks up our vehicles and also we have pay through work and they'll just take a little out of each check until its paid.  We'll see.

Gus - I hope Evey's butt is getting better.

Shelly - I hope the sickness passes soon.

Mel - still getting nauseous?  It will pass...eventually.

Shelly I hope Jeffrey feels better soon. Tubes are no fun.

Tracy your ex is such a gem, I can't imagine why you ever let that one get away....

Susan hope you found some energy today:-) If you find any extra send it my way!

So Evey's bum is looking lots better, she says it doesn't hurt anymore so that is a good thing:-)

Today has been okay, David replaced my battery this morning so...Praise God we had the money for that and it didn't hurt us and he knew how to do it. Took Evey to school so I had a peaceful morning to clean. I have got some laundry going and I made Evelyn and I chicken nuggets for lunch. Now we are hanging out until nap time. Gotta work out tonight with David....I better start seeing results, LOL.

David turned in stuff yesterday for the EFMP screen so it should be about a month until we know if they will sponsor us...The waiting is the worst part...

Boy it has been cold raw and rainy all day around here.  I took 1/2 day off from work to come home and wait for a delivery guy to show up.  We ordered glass tops for both my new desk in the loft and John's set-up in the basement - yes I sent him to the basement with all his crap about a year ago and we are just now getting the glass tops for both new desks.  Boy that stuff is not cheap I tell ya.  Any way the guys showed up and brought in and put Johns' stuff together.  Then they said - oh sorry - we don't have the glass for the other desk.  We will have to come back tomorrow - ummm - no I work for a living and can't just take time off to fit it into your schedule.  They were very nice and said they would have the place call and set up a delivery as their 1st stop in the morning - which would be around 7:30 am.  Ok I can do that.  Then about 1/2 hour after they left the glass place called to apologize and said they were cutting the piece right now and if I was still going to be home they would come back with it.  I stayed home, they came back and all is well.  I couldn't get mad because they really were very nice about the whole mess up.  Of course for what we paid for the glass they should have been kissing my feet - lol!  Ok I got all of that off my chest - next!

Hello ladies! :) Holy welfare cheque day at work today!!! We had $25,000 worth of cheques come through. If you have a government cheque we cash them for you, as long as you spend 10% of the value..... My checkout alone I processed $8000 worth!  when I left at 6pm, the cash office had literally run out of money, and were going to have to refuse anymore that came in.

Still feeling sick.... but it hasnt been as bad the past few days...... I almost fainted at work today, had some candies with me, so I had one of those, and started to feel a bit better.. and Im really sick of these bloody headaches!

As far as work goes, I plan on taking the full 12 months off.... and then going back to work....

Ugh Sandy- that sucks you didnt get your full order.... hopefully they dont make you late for work tomorrow!

sorry I dont remember what else I have to comment on...

Hello ladies!  I am up WAY past my bed time.  I can't sleep. . . . just won't come to me, I was in bed for over an hour and a half and nothing. So up I got.

The doctor's office called yesterday about P, he has something called H.Pylori, it is a bacterial virus that lives in your gut.  He is on 2 high powered antibiotics 3 pills twice a day. I picked them up today for him and he took the first dose and when i went out to get dinner, he was horribly sick!!! I hate this!  Just wish he would get better!

So I went to the doctor for the cyst on my head, and what does it do? It starts festering up and oozing stuff out. . . . Uggggggg  It is so gross!!!!

I am so sleepy. . . gonna try it again. Goodnight everyone!!

I just realized I never made it back to this thread yesterday.   Oops.   We were busy at work.   I had to teach a block of training in the morning.   I will be doing that for every In-service class the city offers this year.   I actually enjoy public speaking so that has been okay.  I got to work and we only had 2 of 5 there.   I am so sick of people not coming to work.   So 3 of us did the work 5 usually do.  Although it's been a long time since we've actually had all 5 of us there.

Renee, how's the snow?   You make it to work today?   Is it supposed to melt anytime soon?   And a huge yuck on on power-steering.

Shelly, I hope Jeffrey doesn't have to get tubes but I will say it's a super easy procedure.   Daniel had it done twice for excessive ear infections.   It was about 10 minutes total from out of my arms and taken back to the surgery room until he was back with me- totally knocked out.   He was up and running around feeling fine by later than same day both times he had it done.   But still, I know no one wants their kid to go under anestesia for any reason.

I am glad P has a diagnosis.   Hopefully the antibiotics will kill it.   Did they give any time line for recovery?

Guss, I need another trasnlation.   I got that David gave something to some alphabet group.   And you may get a sponsor?   A sponsor for what?   Is that about Germany?   I apologize again, I have no idea about anything with the military and how any of their procedures work.

Sandy, I'm glad the company did get both of your glass pieces in yesterday.   I'd have been highly ticked off if they said no go on #2 and expected me to take another day off work.

Mel, I hate that you are feeling so bad with your pregnancy.   I never quite empathized with pregnant women saying they were tired all the time and needed to sit until I was pregnant.   I got winded quickly and sometimes you felt like you need to sit.   I know you work a job that requires a lot of standing but hopefully they can work out something where you can sit when you need to.   12 months off??  That's great.   My employer, the school system here, has moved to only 6 weeks approved off after a vaginal birth, 8-10 off for a C-Section.  I don't think that's enough at all.   I took about 10 weeks with both of my kids.   I would have been ecstatic with a year.

Still cold, windy, and sleety out here.   We had the same yesterday and the same tomorrow.   Have I said I can't wait for spring?   My trees are getting buds, my daffodils are very high, tulips are coming up, etc.   The weather now needs to cooperate.

Yawn - Morning Ladies -

Oh boy I am tired this morning.  I have been back into my regular exercise routine since slacking off some during the holidays and the 1st part of January.  Funny how something that seemed so natural and easy just a few weeks ago now has me dragging my butt. Also the crappy weather we have been having doesn't help.  I want to see spring floors coming up like Tracy but we still have inches of snow covering everything.   Does not look like an early spring for us this year.

Shelly I'm with Tracy on at last knowing what "P" has.  Hopefully he can get that bug out of his system soon.  Do you think he got sick on the meds or just a rough go on what he already has going on?  Yuck on your poor head.  Guess the doctor messing around with it set it off.  Do hope you got some sleep last night.  Insomnia stinks.

Guss I think I got what you were saying about the "sponsor".  It's for Germany right?  I know at first you were not happy with the prospect of going there but what about now?  Have you warmed up to the idea at all yet?

Gaye how did that Italian Stew come out? I have been drooling over the sounds of it ever since you mentioned it.  Any news on Roo Ben ( that name so cracks me up - if we ever get another dog I may just have to use that name) is he still with you?

Good Morning ladies! I managed to sleep in until 8:30am!! mind you I did wake up a few times, and got up 3 times to pee LOL( drank too much before bed) I made myself stay up late last night, because Im working overnight tonight, Yuck....

Yes the 12 months is paid.... you get 45% of your income you earn while pregnant.... up to a max of $470 a week.... so its really not much..... which is why Im busting my hump to try and save as much as I can now,( and add to the stockpile) so I will be able to take the full 12 months off.... it doesnt start when baby is born... it starts when you start mat leave.... so if the doc puts you off early, due to whatever reason.... the time starts from then.....

Well I wouldnt say Im feeling TOO badly.... yes I have the all day sickness... but no actual puking which is good!! Things could be worse! and its for a great cause!

and hopefully in the near future there will be more demos!( been a huge drought lately, going to feel weird to do 3 next week!) where I just stand there!, rather then being on checkouts....

Sandy- glad you got the 2nd table top! and the missing piece!

Shelly- Im glad P finally has a diagnosis! ( took me a few minutes to think of the word LOL) Yuck on your poor head!

Oh found this pic on facebook... thought I would share with you ladies! LOL
