Okay, I give. I am doing it. I miss PPWM too much.
I want to babble. I think you all want to babble. So let’s babble here and then go back to PPWM when they finally get us fixed. I know, it’s discouraging now, but I am too optimistic for my own good. I do think iVillage will get this mess fixed. One day.
For those not on FB, Shelly is monitoring Waylon, debating on a trip to Pitt. He ran a fever all day yesterday and most of the night. At her last check in, he’s down to 99. She’s calling the coordinator this morning.
I had my work party last night. I took a platter of Jalapeno Cheese Grits. I have never had 6 people ask me for a recipe before. I heard they were, “on point” and “ready.” I love it when I bring the most popular dish. There wasn’t a scrap left.
Off to get dressed for work. As of 3:00 today I am done until January 2nd. And then I can start counting down for my spring break beach trip.

I want a grill too... I found a nice one stainless steel- with a side burner and big space for grilling - $139..It was at Aldis ! I told the girls I wanted it for Mothers day =).. Our last one- the bottom fell out- John said he could fix it - I said no scrap it..
Maybe with my ot pay check ..

And Molly decides to throw a birthday party for Kynsie today- Her Birthday is Wed- and Molly has to work so me and John can take her out then.
Gotta get some food- Mother Hubbard here and then stop for a minute and visit with Kynsie then off to the races we go ...

Will most likely be watching the Derby tonight! On the grill thing - I had to hold John back from buying this monster of a grill. It had all these burners and other things on it. He finaly let me get a Weber - Spirit. It is plenty big enough for us. Oh and he NEVER grills! I do all the cooking. I will say it wasn't the cheapest one but it cooks amazing. I really noticed a difference using the Weber compared to the $100 grill we had previous to it. This is our 2nd one in 7 years. Probably would still have the 1st one but it got picked up, twirled around, tossed onto the ground on it's head from a wind tunnel that came just before a huge thunderstorm a couple of summers ago.

Where is everyone lately? I hate it when people stop posting.
I had a fun day yesterday. After work I went and helped open the softball concession stand for the games there this weekend. Then I picked up DS from his friend's house and took both kids to my parent's house. Jeff and I walked from my house to the Mexican place in the neighborhood. I love it when we walk to supper. After that we went to Lowe's. And this is why the man is impossible to shop for: he sees it, he buys it. We were grill shopping for me. I cook. Jeff almost never, ever cooks. He found a floor model grill that he had to have. It was one of those gigantic ones with 3 tiers of burners, a side burner, and a storage cabinet under it. Why? But it was a floor model so they took off $100. Which still made it $300 more than the one I bought. And I will actually use mine. I just do not understand. But, the good news is that I got a new grill. My old one is so bad that no one even took it from the curb.
I am getting ready to go to the grocery store. The kids want homemade pizzas for supper. Yum! DD's practice tomorrow has already canceled. This weekend is really looking up. I just wish I could see the Derby this evening.

feeling a little better this morning... just feels like a regular cold now....My co-worker came over just before to show me her ultrasound picture!( she had her dating ultrasound this morning) shes 8 weeks pregnant, due in december! and she bought the baby an umbrella stroller for $4! so she dropped that off!

No new grill yet, Sandy. The shopping may be tonight. I was at the ballpark last night.

Yes, Waylon is feeling better! and Yes Jeffrey got his tooth pulled. He was such a good boy, never said a word until it was all over with and then he cried and cried and cried. Poor baby! But he is doing good now.Sent them both of to school and I am sitting here thinking about all I want to do, and how much I probably won't get done. LOL
It is FINALLY Friday, and P will be home this evening!!!

Shelly sure hope you have a better day today. How is everyone doing? Waylon feeling better? Jeffery's tooth get pulled? Think his tooth might have been part of his ear problem?
Tracy I would hate being as busy as you are. Some busy is ok but wow you sure do make me tired just reading about your schedule - lol. Did you get a new grill? You also said in the Weekend post that school is out in 3 weeks. That is amazing.
Mel congratulations! Hope you aren't getting sick. There was something nasty going around our office and I was one of the lucky ones who got it. It's a nasty cold thing. It's gone now but my allergies are acting up big time.

Shelly, I hope your day got better. That's a terrible start. Is Waylon okay today? Why do you think your kids hate school so much? Something going on there that they don't like?
Susan, I have a countdown app on my phone. 52 days until Key West. So needed.
I worked my overtime yesterday, got to meet Jeff for a quick supper, and I made it to DS's game. I am tired of being that busy.

For those not on facebook.... I got a letter from immigration today! I passed my Canadian citizenship test! woohoo!!! ceremony is in a few weeks!
Ugh I think Im getting a cold... my throat has been sore all day, Im sniffly, and my head hurts grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
How long before Key West? It would be nice if you could record all the stupid sh*t that your ex does and, of course, doesn't do and that it would somehow help you in court. You could easily have people back you up on this too. I don't know how you do it. I would have to start saying no to stuff. You have to start getting some "me" time. You're overworked and overran.
Nothing too exciting here. We're leaning towards the derby party and not the wedding now. Who knows what we'll end up doing. I bought a big hat so I kind of want to do the derby party. We can feasibly do both, but DH said he only wants to do one. And I heard through the grapevine at work that he may be working Saturday. Guess we wait and see what happens.
